large cities are not condusive to single motherhood...a single mother has to be able to make money, keep a roof over her+child's head, own & pay insurance on a car, put food on the table, and more than likely pay for childcare... ask bookworm how hard it is to be a single mother in chicago...it's expensive to live in or near a major city and be safe at the same time
