US Immigration Debate

Ok everyone is getting all up in arms about what we should do about immigrants who are here in this country illegally. Many have been here for years illegally, and are working, have had children, etc. My question is what is all the debate about. Send them home. I have no problems with people coming here legally from any country, but if you are here illegally what gives you the right to be here and protest and all that bullshit. Am I missing something?

Man, I am relieved to see this thread. I guess I'm not the only one who doesn't want illegal immigrants to overrun my home country, instead of just fixing up and staying in their own.

i find it very suspicious that they don't mind the Irish Illegal Aliens that much but making big deal bout the Mexican ones

but i believe that the immigration system needs to be fixed so that people can come but LEGALLY, so that they wont need to exploited

I know. Now i hate Rush Limbaugh with a passion and would gun him down with an M16 at the slightest opportunity, but he was right when he said that Mexicans should conform to our rules when they come here. At Here in America, you're free to protest if you feel the urge to(at least for the most part) and desecration of the flag happens without anyone getting locked up for it. Now go to Guadalajara for example, take the Mexican flag, stamp on it and burn it; then see if the Mexican policia do not torture the fuck out of you. People are not even allowed to protest peacefully in Mexico. They do not even tolerate illegals in their country but Vicente Fox seems to believe it is okay for them to come here and smuggle drugs, spend our taxes and then abuse our laws. Trust me, this is one issue i actually support the Republicans on. If you do not like our rules, get the fuck out. If you wanna be here, play by our rules. Do as the Romans do when in Rome.

 

I couldn't agree more with that analysis. What makes Mexicans so special to the point where they can overrun our country and impose their will onto us, but we can't do the same thing in theirs, :roll: let alone their country being in such crappy shape until even they can't stand to live in it anymore?

Wouldn't they just do over again to our country what they did to their own country for many years, if they keep immigrating over here?

 

Now that right there is the reason why i am one of the biggest supporters of the Minutemen. Myself and my fiancee get into arguments over this issue, for obvious reasons, but i feel the same way as you do, SG.
