    Everyone remember to vote tomorrow.

This is a very important election day.

Even though the election is as close as possible, i still am undecided if i am going to vote. The Republicans are just the most pathetic, greedy, cunning, lying, racist excuses for human beings and i just cannot bring myself to vote for a group of people who want to raise my taxes, impose far-left doctrines on us and leave the country vulnerable to terrorists who will strike whenever they choose to. So there you go.......

I think, just like 04, i am going to sit this one out. I might chance my mind though.

I'm still trying to decide also.

Any trends already visible to predict the possible outcome at this point of time?

The modern-day myth about the Democratic party. You've already called the Republicans liars, which as an entity, they are. Please don't tell me you believe this piece of Republican propaganda?

The Democrats are just as concerned with terrorism as the Republicans are, but the D's believe that the Iraq war put the "War on Terrorism" off track and that you don't have to lie and commit crime (WARRANTLESS wiretapping of Americans) to protect our citizens.

None yet. Still a lot of reports about last polls. The media is trying to stay away from exit polls this year. The first polls will close around 6 EST (I think) in Indiana. We'll start getting real numbers then.

First things first, why did you leave out the part about being imposed with far-left, Nancy Pelosi, San Francisco values? Anyway, i know i am right; the Republicans are lying bastards who need to be kept in their places but honestly, the Democrats seriously do not have a plan, let alone a strategy on how to handle Iraq. Ted Kennedy and Co. support getting the troops out of Iraq which might be reasonable to some extent, but then those extremist thugs would take over and given the fact that Saddam has been sentenced to death, the Sunnis and Shiites would go at each other and kill innocent people. That is not alleviating the problem, is it?

Sure, Bush and Rumsfeld have lied, covered up stories and murdered innocent citizens but about the wiretapping, if it's gonna make us safer and counter terrorist activities, i'm all for it. I'd rather savor a few of my civil liberties as long as i, as well as thousands of Americans, remain safe. In my opinion, if the Democrats take over the Senate and mess up Iraq even more, they should forget about 2008.

Haha. I can't really make an argument about the imposed far-left values. Hopefully, we can get some bills "tainted" (as you may see it) with said values by a tough Senate (regardless of who has majority power) once the election is over. Nancy Pelosi is my hero.

I think the Democrats haven't had the power to forward any plan. I've seen mention of 3 ideas for changing "stay the course" strategy: 1) immediate withdrawal, which would not be smart; 2) phased withdrawal contingent upon our ability to train Iraqi security forces, which is kind of what we're doing, but without withdrawing troops; 3) divide the country into 3 semi-autonomous regions: Shia, Sunni and Kurd, which I think should be considered much more than it is now. If the D's gain control of Congress, they will definitely focus on a plan and strategy for Iraq. They have been very careful about talking about a plan before the election, because they know that going beyond bashing Bush and Republicans for the Iraq mess could backfire. Not saying that's good, it's just the reality.

This is happening now. Sadly, I don't think it matters what we do, the thugs will continue to fight us and the Sunni and Shiites will continue to fight each other. Our presence gives them reason and way to fight. The only option may be to split 'em up.

Understand, though, that the current situation (violence, terrorism, civil war) in Iraq is America's fault. There is just no argument that can be made to the contrary.

No doubt. I'm for wiretapping also, as are most Democrats. But, I'm for getting a FISA court warrant first.

This has been driving me a little crazy thinking about it from time to time. How are they supposed to help get this country back in shape if they don't even know where to start, let alone keep focusing on Iraq?

Yeah, they won. It was announced here in my neck of the woods on TV, and the reaction I could give would be the exact same one as yours.

Hopefully, things will actually get better now.

I'm not very political, but you know I got opinions.

I think the big thing here is to give power back to the Dems in order to have the people of MA heard rather than ignored.

Romney was never here and was a puppet for the corporate powers that be.

I really think Patrick will do good for the state because he gives a fuck, unlike Romney who just wanted to put it on his resume. He'll help the poor, he'll help employment.

You should hear talk radio here...its digusting, white racist republicans talking its a DEVAL-uation of the state, all illegal aliens will get licenses, all rapists will be free, they can all quit their jobs since they will be automatically qualified for welfare. Crime will be rampant. Uggghh. I can't stand it.

Patrick will work for the peeps, not for his legacy. I think THAT'S so important. You can't say that for either for Romney or Kerry "Muffy" Healey.

    Peace.

You know I love men with opinions! [IMG]

So you expect him to not only talk the talk but to actually walk the walk! I hope he will! It's kind of hard to keep up with local politics from a distance, could you keep me posted about whats going on?

Seems like you think that most of it is exclusive to Boston, MA. If so, then you're definitely wrong.

I know you might be surprised to hear this, but it happens here too. And do not get me started on those conservative Cuban talk show hosts...

It doesn't matter where you are in America. AM radio is the same no matter what.
