...is that we can live in a nation where the attraction and love between different races doesn't ignite all of the socio-political and anthropological discussions that America seems committed to having about why people of different races choose to be together. I was reading over many of the Topics and Posts here and started wondering...maybe the Alpha and Omega of it all is simply that Black men are MEN and White women are WOMEN and that, regardless of our cultural mores, biology dictates that attraction and bonding will take place across the color lines. Something I have been wondering... Do BW have issues when they see another Sista with a White male?
Personally, I have never heard a Sista bash another Sista for being with a man or woman from a different race.
Yes, I do believe that, but regardless, those relationships are still more accepted by people in general.
They see it as "switching up". To black woman, dating white men means you are tired of black men's drama but a black man dating a white woman is just a Eurocentric sellout. See the double standards :roll:
