Autumn brings forth more accessories to sport. I am planning to purchase the scarf listed below to add to my collection.
Cheers Curleyblonde. Here is a little tip for the gentlemen who shop at Gap (Banana Republic) establishments. It appears this year the company is now offering a good portion of their sweaters using a large percentage of Acrylic with minimum Wool. Bear in mind Acrylic fabric offers a strong resemble-lance of wool. Unfortunately Acrylic loses its shape quite easily and tends to have a very short lifespan. Acrylic fabric is inexpensive in comparison to wool so, there is no reason to offer a price point as if it is actually 100% wool. Pay attention to the labels before you hand your credit card to the cashier. Shops like fcuk, and J.Crew offer 100% wool and Lambs wool sweaters that offer a lower price point than Gap Establishments.
What excellent advice. I think if you compare to wool and cotton, acrylic fibers found in sweaters feel synthetic, although they might be mistaken for silk, and have a certain sheen. However, acrylic fibers are made with an organic compound. As for the tendency of acrylic sweaters to lose their shape, certainly don't hang them to store. You will have welts in the shoulders. Of course, I would nor likely do this with a sweater of cotton, silk, or wool. However, if there is a rule to apply, it depends upon how sheer the garment is.
Upon viewing the source of Acrylic, it is a form of plastic material. I've always remembered Acrylic being classed as a of low quality alternative. I do own a sweater that consist of 50% Acrylic and 50% Wool which I purchased in H&M for $9.00 years ago. Possibly the switch in material on certain Gap products is based on the economic crisis in the States. Personally, I only use hangers on suits, and coats. Everything else is folded to retain the shape of the garments original form. Cheers!
Nice and feminine If anyone lives in New York, Macy's is offering excellent prices on everything in their stores. For the blokes that like the Urban/Sporty style the stores offers an abundant amount of apparel to choose from. Unfortunatly, I'm more European/Traditional so, I was limited to the Ralph Lauren section. Cheers!
