my dad was recently diagnosed with cancer.. so I've been more disconnected than posting.. but I haven't gone any where..

Nice to know my absense was noticed though!

I'm sorry to hear that Sassy I don't know if you're a religious person or not, and this definitely is NOT the religious thread, but a few years ago, my neice was diagnosed with luikemia (i don't know if i spelled that right) and she lost her hair, and had to have all of the tubes sticking out of her chest and everything. Well, one day, the entire family got together and prayed, and a few weeks later (it may have been a month, i'm not totally sure) she went to the doctor for a routine checkup and the doctor discovered that the cancer had totally disappeared. I mean, there was not a single trace of it left in her body. She grew her hair back, and has been well ever since. The doctors were speechless,
as they didn't know how to explain what had happened, but we all knew what happened. :wink: I don't know why God chooses to heal some people and not others, but that day, we were all witnesses to a miracle, and so i thought i'd share this with you because even though your father has cancer, anything is possible. :wink:

 

By the way, i like your new pic Sassy. You have such a young looking face. I don't know how old you said you were, but i'm having a hard time believing it. :wink:

 

I hope your father will be better soon.

Chat, yeah still struggeling with that one. Last Monday the site was acting up again and I couldn't post the Chat reminder. I still think we should try though. I won't be here next Monday (will be relaxing in Miami YAYYYY) but if you're in maybe you can try your luck and "lure" some people to come to chat
