I like your corny jokes. I prefer kissing and making up to fighting. However, your earlier commanding post was quite the turn on. :smt112

    My two cents

I think the point that some of the people were making about the South was that even though we can agree that racism exist everywhere in this country. One has to admit that some of the blatant and destructive racism that take place in the south doesn't seem to happen anywhere else. No one would dare propose an all white basketball league even in Boston ( a city know for being racially divided) nor would you see a judge in NY tell a couple he won't marry them because he doesn't believe in interracial marriage. Certain times you have to call a spade a spade. I'm not saying the entire south and everyone in it is racist but to ignore the deep seeded racist culture that made the south what it is, is ignoring what's in front of your eyes. It's not all bad but like I sad racism and the south is like NY and the Yankees it just goes hand and hand.

And right up here in Baltimore, I will tell you that some black people can be just as ignorant as some white people. You would never believe the stares I get when I am out with my dates. I note them but pay them no mind.

My best friend lives in MD, but near DC, and he always talks about it being a good place for IR dating. I know you said you live in Bmore and Bmore and DMV differ. I live in L.A. and always felt this was the best place for it, although, I've dated in ATL, NY and PA and never had any problems, yet when I was out back in the day on some dates here in L.A., the dudes got called sell-out/Jungle Fever (like '90-'92).

The DC area is great for IR. The cultural intermix is better than Baltimore and the women are more open minded.

Yeah, he always tells me that I'd love it out there (to live).

I forgot. I went out on a date in Bmore in Towson at a bar and it was all White. No one said anything. Then I went to (Dream) Love (all Black) with my best friend and people stared, but nothing happened either. He's 6'3 and I'm 5'2. I know we stood out.

Not just Baltimore, m8....Cleveland, Denver, even Sweet Home Chicago...h8red from alleged, so-called "Bruthas" & "Sistas"..

    Sad but true..

*I* believe ya, m8..........*I* believe ya....

All very well and good...as the case *should* be...

But once, in 1999, when Mellisa & I were first dating and were still Stateside...it *did* become physical...when this so-called...uh..."Brutha" put his hands on me on a Denver Downtown street.

I had a hammer in my hands...after I was done with a day's work on a construction site (I was inbetween filmmaking gigs), and the inevitable hammer came down on him.

It was all in self-defense, m8.....

A sign of things to *come*, perhaps...............:D

By the way, Mellisa (Mrs. MDB) kinda sounded me out about my last exclamation:

She sez it's *actually* spelled (pronounced?) "Fuckin' A!!

    So now we *know*.... (*smirk*)
