Agreed. When I registered to vote 4 years ago, I never identified myself as Republican or Democrat because I don't believe in voting along party lines. I do tend to vote for Democratic candidates in elections because I live in a heavily Democrat state and I vote on the policies. I did not vote for and currently do not approve of my current governor, a Democrat, John Corzine. I am registered as a Democrat now only because I voted for Obama in the Primary. I'm a liberal conservative or a conservative liberal, depending on your perspective.

That describes me perfectly. I've always considered myself an Independent. I never voted in the primaries because I didn't want to declare myself as a certain party. I always vote for the person that I feel would be best suited for the job. I tend to agree with issues on both sides of the fence.

I did vote in last year's primaries and declared myself a Democrat so that I could cast my vote for Obama. But, that will probably be the only time I vote in the primaries.

I, too, did not vote for my pathetic excuse for a governor. And will be toasting his (hopefully inevitable) impeachment.

Yeah I would say your Gov. has issues, but google Jim McGreevey. 'Nuff said.
