    Such freaking racists.

They never ask the question why do some white men exclusively date chinese women ? I've heard the racists' BS that they are "tight" If you've ever been with asian woman you know that is crock. Why do we love the vanillas ? Its nobody's freaking business. Next time some yo yo asks you that question don't bash the sistas just look the motherfucker in the eye and tell him to FUCK OFF

I've been asked by every BM i've been with why do I date black men. it's the second most popular question. The first is: "Am I your first black man?" "lol" i've just given up answering. It's my preference, and I see no reason why I should justify it.

 Well...AM I YOUR FIRST :?: :!:  But the more important question is where have you been because we've missed you :!:

Actually, to be fair to white dudes, there have been plenty, plenty, plenty of articles that has discussed why they like Asian women and vice versa. It's a very recurring theme.

All of which makes me wonder why there seems to be this great need to have one common answer to why people of one race date people of another race. I'm sure that if you ask a hundred people why they do, you'll get quite a few different answers. It's just a matter of preferences.

To me the color of the skin isn't even of relevance. Give me a sporty guy who has a nice butt and a personality to go with it and I couldn't care less if he was white, black, yellow or green. With that said, my independent research tells me that a higher percentage of black men than men of other colors have nice behinds :)

    Indeed.

Don't sleep a lot of white guys want black chicks. A guy I worked with when asked who he thought were the hottest chicks in our dept his first two were black chicks and he's married to and dark skinned Indian chick...

no, you're not my first, but you're by far the best. ;) :D

I've been having a rough time of it lately...in a relationship, then it all collapsed around me. Out of work and having some health problems, so I've been hiding out for a bit. But i'm back on the prowl and trying to straighten myself out. i was in Atlanta in early July. Left you a message on the boards but not sure if you saw it. Love the food! Wow you Southerners know how to feed a skinny white girl! :D My colleague wanted to eat at McDonalds the whole time and I flatly refused. He's not into experiencing other cultures which I don't understand.

I do not get the idea of sticking to homogenized restaurants and shops when you are somewhere new. I am with you, Aqua, I like to try new things and find out what I am missing out on!

Have you ever seen that travel show where the guy goes around the world and eats absolutely the most crazy foods he can find? He's always trying some kind of brain or bug! I would try anything once...

Sorry to hear things have been rough for you - hopefully things are turning around...

Oh things will turn around. They always do eventually. :) The road of life is never smooth, there's always ups and downs.

I don't know if I could eat brains or bugs, but there aren't too many kinds of food I don't like, and I usually always try something before I decide I don't like it.

I just skimmed through that rubbish. No need to rot my brain before the gym or ever.

I must say that this post hit close to home. I was getting to know a young lady who asked me the proverbial "have you ever been with a white female?" question. I blankly stared at her then walked away without saying a word. I haven't spoken to her since. That may have been an overreaction but asked after a few minutes of kissing, the question was not well timed and it just seemed dumb.

You walked away after you kissed her? Wow that was not nice. I agree her timing was probably a bit off but I personally think the question is ok to ask in general. I ask it not because I want to hear a justification of your choice (to hit Aqua's point) but because I want to know whether I am your guinea pig or not or how "secure" you are with your choice.

I understand what you're saying. But my position is that the question is nonsense because I think being with anyone new, regardless of ethnicity, is an experiment. Especially true in that moment (unless it was obviously a joke), I'd probably respond in the exact same way if a female asked "so, have you ever been with someone with the last name Goldstein?". I'm sure that we can agree that there's no right or wrong way to feel about the question.

It matters not to me whether i was the first or the last, what does matter is how considerate and open hearted many white women are to just give me a chance when it comes to dating them.
