Why does everyone hate the Tea Party ?

Cutting through whatever else the Tea Party Rhetoric has echoed, the main message I've taken away from their rallies, spokespeople, and media coverage is one of exclusionary politics...

Their "My way or the highway" message only seeks to protect their interests without offering solutions, considerations, or compromise for those who have been or would be harmed by their platform/policies.

 

There are probably hundreds of similar stories out there, but every time I hear Tea Party minions and Repugnicans call for smaller government, less regulation and the elimination of government agencies as solution to job creation, economic stimulus, etc., these tidbits of info reinforce my skepticism of their message...

The Tea Baggers think they are not like the 99% but,they are in some areas.

 

Tea Baggers don't see through that Divide and Conquer tactic.... Instead, they've been conditioned to believe that the ails of the world have been caused by the 99%, without realizing that they too will eventually identify as the walking, working, poor...

 

Everyday, candidates representing (apparent) Tea Party/conservative values emerge with more inane comments without regard to the "domino effect" their hardline sound bytes have on our status as a leader of the free world and protectors of human rights, not to mention the fuel they put in radical group fires...
