Why is everyone so scared...

Yeah i agree how is it socialism to make sure a country has a certain standard of living im sure ill get jumped on for saying this but ive never understood how America can get away without having some kind off national health system.

I mean how is it fair for instance a child is dying and there something thats available but cannot be paid for by poor parents.
Im disgusted that things can be dealt out this way we all have a basic right to live in acceptable health and conditions.
I agree with the way things are here in britain and i dont think we are overly taxed at all its obviously a damned lot less than the cover offered to disposableheroine excluding our councill tax of course which mine is about £1200 a year Tell me if you get taxed and public services are so poor where does your money go, that would be my question ?

Sometimes we all have to pay the price for others but i dont see as how the high fliers will have there lifestyle overly affected and some people say its not fair because those people worked hard !
So are you saying that the people in Mc donalds dont work hard or the cleaners ,nannys, and any other low paid job you can think off because i think your wrong!! and its so easy to say well they should do something better career wise but if they all went off and did that whose gonna take care of peoples kids pour your coffee all the crap you dont wanna do.

That was not my intention, but I like robust discussions too. I like your posts and you are obviously an intelligent, thoughtful person. I really didn´t come to WWBM to argue politics, I came here because I like to discuss WWBM issues. There are other sites to argue politics, right?

Yes that's true. Unfortunately I come from a super political leftist family and I'm under no illusion that the influence seeps right through to my bones.

Maybe we should stick with the light hearted stuff, I mean I talk politics all day.. and we know that we at least have one thing in common as you point out
