Would you date a deaf or blind person?

    I don't know if this question has ever been brought up. Have you ever dated a deaf or blind person?

    I could do blind, but deaf no chance in hell.

    Well to me its the person not what they can/can't do that attracts me so I could date either ;)

    i m hearing very bad and for some times i have been and am temporarily deaf aswell, and i know i have a friend on this board who faces the same.
    it s nothing that cant be handled, but it is difficult and takes effort from the partner. more then in a regular relationship.

    for myself i hold it with ffg. if the chemistry is right the rest will follow.

    Certainly. Either would be manageable. If the person is right, everything works. If not, nothing on earth could salvage it. Probably couldn't do both, though, because communication would be incredibly difficult.

    It never happened to me to date a deaf or a blind person but I have a friend who is blind and a colleague of mine at work is deaf.Communicating with them was never a problem so I guess if I'd meet someone and we'd be attracted to each other why not?

    Blind? probably not. Deaf wouldn't be a problem because I know sign language.

    I would date both. But, of course it is all about how I feel about her if I knew her and her condition. If she is blind, I could describe what I am seeing to her and if she is deaf, I would make an effort to learn sign language. And read her eyes as she is communicating with me.

    I don't think blindness could be a problem.. If person is deaf, it might cause a problems in communication.. But for me all depends on personality. If you like person much you will always find way for communication..
