Truly if the US government was capable of enforcing current gun laws on the books I might approve of gun control or limiting what weapons people can own. However as of now any idiot can purchase a gun without registering. At those gun shows plenty of guns get sold without any background checks at all. All these "Gun control" enthusiasts suggest is stealing guns from legal gun owners, and basically leaving guns in the hands of criminals. I fail to see what disarming the lawful abiding gun owning populace will accomplish.

When the criminals in this society are disarmed you can start talking about disarming everyone.

This country's incurable gun fetish is one of the real downsides of being an American.

Alcohol, fast cars, drugs, porn, the NFL and guns.

    God bless America.:smt109

You just said it was incurable, so it is just like when you decide to commit to a woman for the rest of your life. If you know you are not leaving, learn to accept her for who she is.

Racism is incurable too. Doesn't mean I have to learn to accept it.
Just because you see shit daily that in your opinion is wrong doesn't mean you just learn to deal.

Some shit that goes on out here will always piss me off, even if I as an individual can't stop it.

BTW leaving a woman is nowhere near the same ballpark as giving up on your country.

IRL I'll just keep to my own.

2and amendment is an American principle by bill of rights, racism is an American problem. Thats a flawed analogy. I disagree with your second statement as well, marriage should be a lifetime commitment although I love this country I will never marry it. Actually I am considering retiring somewhere I can live good off a lower cost of living. Like Costa Rica.
