Don't miss the photos of Garden of the Gods. It's a city park and one of the most amazing places I've ever been. If you think city parks are all grass and benches, take a peak at something unusual

 

TP you speak the truth. Garden of the Gods is one of my fav Colorado places.

 

The first year or two that I was living here, before MS, Sunday mornings in the winter I used to go sit in the snow and meditate at the Garden. (I had all weather gear). To watch the sun come up there is to be at peace with the universe.

Ocean where passengers can get on and off
Vancouver Island and go to the Mainland,Tsawassen (Vancouver)
or other destinations located up in the Northern Region,
to other areas of Central-Northern Vancouver Island.
The Swartz Bay to Tsawassen route is MOST popular, frequent, and expensive.

This ferry is on its way to Tsawassen..the journey from Swartz Bay to Tsawassen is approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes, including docking procedure, and departures.

I cannot tell you, how 7.5 Mio people think, but I can tell you that nobody seems to be interested in attacking or noticing them, we all have to earn money,take care of our own lifes and families, why should I care about neighbours or people on the street, it is wasting of time and energy.

In Switzerland all is a question of money, not race, colour,age,gender or whatever..

it is indeed a great country. It is small, within three hours you go from Zürich to Lugano or Geneve or Chur (where you find the small villages like Davos). The different influences of Germany, Italy or France, not only in language, also in architecture and mentality is amazing. The huge amount of different nationalities, the strict policies to integrate and to support the weakest is impressive.

Everything is very clean and high-level, the criminal rate is very low, unemployment rate is around 2,9%. And you know, busy people have no time to do or think bs, they are tired at evening.,,lol


What you need to like is antique buildings..many of our buildings are 700/800 yrs old...top renovated, but still....

The only negative thing is that it's very expensive for tourists.

the street i grew up off of




The Dunbar Hotel. Back in the day, this is where all the great African-American performers stayed at, because they weren't allowed to stay at other hotels. Oh that is a MESS. It was once LA's most prestigious hotel for the African-American community. In the 1930s-1940s, it hosted Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, Lionel Hampton, Count Basie, Lena Horne and many other jazz legends. Other noteworthy people who stayed at the Dunbar include W. E. B. Du Bois, Joe Louis, Ray Charles and Thurgood Marshall. Former heavyweight champion Jack Johnson also ran a nightclub at the Dunbar in the 1930s.
