Last night I had Magners Irish Pear Cider followed by Pussers Rum. At the moment I'm drinking orange juice with my breakfast, then I'm of to work.
That's one of the smoothest rums I've had. I haven't had the taste for rum in a solid 12 months tho, don't know why.
Rum is my primary spirit. Occasionally I'll have vodka with something and on very rare occasions a whisky.
I usually go for the sugar cane rums but Pyrat OX reserve is proof that the molasses rums can be just as good. Appleton is good too but not on the same level as the Pyrat. Other than that, the Ron Zacapa 23, 10 cane and Diplomatico are the only other ones I drink. Kinda sucks that not many good rums are sold in the US. It's kinda like the Irish Whiskies I guess, not many of the really good ones are sold this side of the ocean. But as long as I can get good Scotch and Bourbon I'm good.
