Show four articles where black cops shot an unarmed white guy under questionable cirmustances and got off

So one white cop said that so that means all cops believe that? So you're painting with a broad brush here. But we don't want white people painting is with the same broad brush

We aren't talking all whites (there are plenty of whites in the blm) and all cops but if there are mostly good cops then why arent they standing and speaking out.

I don't think anyone here (nor BLM as a whole) are painting any particular group with one brush. The words from that cop echo the sentiment that many are/have displayed over and over again. Racist? Absolutely, but it's also closely tied in with the overall police culture problem which is very real.

I've never been stopped by police on the street, except one transit cop (in plain clothes) who asked if I would participate in a lineup. After politely declining I was on my way shortly afterward with no incident. As a motorist of over 30 years... I've had plenty of traffic stops, usually for speeding. I'm very thankful that most went well, and the officers were almost always professional. That's a reasonable expectation we all want. However, I have had a few that were total assholes, including 2 who were clearly confrontational for no reason and obviously looking for any reason to escalate. That's some scary shit when you know you've done nothing wrong (except maybe a traffic infraction) and some cop is now looking to escalate the situation. The really sad part of that my worse two stops were by officers who looked like me. So, yes, there's plenty of racism within the police forces, but overall... There's a seriously horrible police culture problem. The police have been getting away with mistreating people, unjustied killings and other stuff for way too long, and folks are fed up. This is precisely why BLM exists. It's sad that there's a need for BLM as it's sad that there's need for the NAACP, affirmative action, anti-discrimination laws and so on. One thing that occurs to me in regard to those who call BLM a terrorist group... When Dr. King was leading civil rights movement... many people who happy with Jim Crow laws saw him as a troublemaker. This includes law enforcement.

I say this to say... This is deep. BLM is not at all about stuff their haters want to make them out to be.

If you're referring to Giuliani... He may as well be a paid advocate for the police. In his mind they've never done anything wrong. He was the one back when he was mayor who said... "The police should never be questioned/second guessed". What kinda BS is that?

Speaking to that..what happened as a result? Any gang violence and ensuing bloodshed was eventually nipped in the bud. Mob bosses died in jail. You no longer witness the drive-by's and carnage that they inflicted upon each other.

Furthermore, the gangs in Chicago have no respect or honor for the innocent just trying to live their lives in peace. Babies and kids and women are being shot. Whole neighborhoods are held hostage. Boys are forced to join gangs or be targeted. Undiagnosed PTSD abounds due to the incessant violence around them. You have residents living with perpetual flight or fight responses which raises the stress hormones cortisol, adreneline and noradrenaline. It's not healthy mentally or physically to feel like a hostage in your environment.

Finally, there is no culture that suddenly invented violence...every culture have histories of bloodshed. So if a current culture is experiencing excessive intra-violence, why not address it? There's certainly enough blame to go around.
