Random Political comments...

I'm on my phone so I'll make it as short as possible.

The reason we need people voting for Jill Stein is because if she gets 5% of the votes, the Green Party gets federal funding which will raise their profile for federal positions like Congress, etc.

There are currently Green politicians as mayors, and city council members, etc around the country, but to raise their profile, they need federal funding.

As for Trump vs Clinton, I firmly believe the ONLY way for the Progressive movement to continue the momentum is for Trump to win. Like I said before, Clinton isn't a Progressive and she's so entrenched in politics, she's beholden to her corporate and Wall Street overlords.

The only way to force the Democrats to move back to the left is for Trump to win.

A Clinton presidency = DOA progressive movement.

If she wins, I will come back in a year with the I told you so.
Basically I'd risk destroying the country to get a more left person. I can't do that too risky but I understand your point.

I have to disagree, the best way for the progressive movement to go forward is for lazy ass Americans to actually vote in other elections. The president is not a monarch they need congress to get shit done. I lived through a Republican presidency with a republican congress it was fucking awful and we still feel the effects now. I don't want to introduce that kind of bs again. True progressives will vote for Clinton AND vote progressives into congress. I don't believe in this things have to get worst in order for it to get better garbage. It takes such little effort such a huge change. Everyone needs to stop being so unbelievably lazy.

While progressives will vote for Clinton, it has nothing to do with progressiveness. I think we all know she is not progressive. We are just afraid of trump turning the country into worse than she would. When given the chance, most of us here voted for someone more progressive than her.

Yeah but of the two options she is progressive and we need to stop just focusing on the presidential elections. That is our biggest problem right now

Good Luck to Donald Trump; The Clinton's have been around pulling strings for more than 30 years; and still they achieved nothing but scandal after scandal; I am not an American; But I remember all those American Fighting Men that came to the UK to Fight the Germans; they died side by side with our Fathers, Brothers, Uncles, Grandfathers; and the World was Free once More.........

Since 1945 the Carpet Baggers have moved in and Democracy was replaced by Global Asset Strippers; Closing our Factories and allowing floods of Cheap Labour to keep our Population on the Bread-Line; whilst the Status Quo became Mega-Rich, and the Poor returned to Debts, Drugs, and Desperation............

The Clinton's have Done their Part to Keep the Masses Down, Whilst like the Tony Blair Family; they became Multi-Millionaires......Good Luck Donald Trump; The USA has nothing to lose by Electing You; But they Sure Will Not Prosper Under the Clinton's......

Trump will move democrats more to the left. Hillary will push republicans further right, same as Obama did. The rhetoric coming from the republicans has been the most stupid shit I have heard in years. So much so it has bred this idiot candidate before us.

Because who better to fight for the poor and middle class than wealthy trust fund baby who has never shown any inclination at any time in his life to help anyone but himself, and profits from the exact same things (like cheap labor) that this commenter is criticizing in his post?

And all this time I thought foreigners were smarter than us. Turns out they're just as delusional as the people here only with better accents
