The first two jobs were actually really simple government contracting positions that are temporary anyway, so it is misleading for you to assume that. The work was pretty mundane (simple) and I didn't even have that much work to do, because I was bored and had extra time occasionally. I was doing basic software testing in my first contracted position, then data analysis in the second one.
This new one is as a business analyst and is completely different in many ways from the other two positions. .....
And the salary rates for the first one I had was $50,000 per year, the second one was $40,000 per year, this one is $48,000. I was so concerned about the posts about the election because Trump and the Republicans want to diminish the influence the government has on the country. He even wants to take out the Department of Education completely. That's why I was concerned because Bookworm's ideology and your political ideology is putting my job prosperity at risk since I've only been working in jobs that involve the government. When I was 22 years old, my first job really did pay $50,000 per year.
I'm 24 years old going on 25. I still have no interest in dating and I'm still a very happy and optimistic person even without companionship.
He doesn't want to eliminate the Department of Education, he wants to give education (majority power) back to the States to control. They know better for their citizens. There is no cookie cutter way to educate. I understand standards but it's too much power...
Your job won't be eliminated but every damn job can't be in the Govt sector.
