Small shit like this is why people don't care when a college frat throws a blackface party. The petty shit overshadows real issues.
Oh don't you worry...it's just conditioning us for the big ONE... The day they protest that White women dating/marrying Black men is cultural appropriation, (and to please stop it).
I don't know if you were aware, but in the 90's there was something similar to that where these type of black women were telling white women about taking "their" men. I suspect it would probably come back, but in the culture appropriation way we are seeing.
LOL! I think I've actually seen an article on that before. Don't know if the writer was being serious or trolling.
I do remember, and that complaint hasn't really stopped. I was sorta joking..but it would not surprise me to see that C.A. catch-cry emerge. No way. No.Way. Too stupid.
Are some people stuck on stupid? Where were those critics back in the 80 when Bo Derek had those cornrows or any other WW over the years? Personally for me I think WW looked rediculous having dreads and BW hairstyles.
The community should not get worked up over petty things. A week ago a White frat has a Cinco De Drinko party of students wearing sterotypical clothes Latinos and Latinas wear for work.
Actually the Bo Derek hairstlye in "10" was arguably the first case of such crying over cultural appropriation (of course it wasn't called that back then). There was an uproar that was picked up by the media. I read about that over a decade ago. Anyway black women (or many of them) continue to prove that despite all the bullshit talk about being "Queens" they remain the most insecure people on the planet. Do African American women for example realize that most of them wear an unnatural hairstyle that could also be considered cultural appropriation?
Maaan...Whoopie kept it real. Who was the angry heffa next to her? She looks familiar. Whoopie shut her down.
Of course sistas are most vocal about white female "appropriation". But as soon as this guy shows up---- then all of a sudden----
You aint ever lied... Did Justin Bieber hear it? Did Riff-Raff hear it? Did David Beckham hear it? Did Jared Lito hear it? Oh there's more, but point is made. Oh yeah...did any of these men hear it...from Black men?? *Crickets*
And that may be true, but notice your visceral was not "it's racist". That's because you aren't a triggered moron.
