You and all people already have that place you seek - it's called your home.Dont want to speak for Beasty or TDK, but I believe what they are trying to say is that it gets very tiring and insulting to have to put up with being viewed as a "threat", or out of place in a certain area, or a "reason to call the police", just because you exist and are living your life. You are correct in your previous posts that fair housing laws prohibit discrimination based on ethnicity/race, that is federal/nationwide firmly established law. I think what some here are saying is that it would be nice to have a place(s) where they could relax and not have to deal with that kind of bigotry. I do think it could lead to a slippery slope of self imposed segregation however, and in my opinion that is moving backwards not forward.
Anything beyond it doesn't belong to you. We all share it.
Create the space beyond you to reflect your desired Utopia, but stay within the laws, don't exclude on color. You know how it feels, so why perpetuate that?
No matter how much you want 'this', or 'that' to be how you want it, be fair, be judicious and be lawful. Segregated n'hoods are none of those.
('you' does not mean you personally, btw)
