BM/WW IR sightings on TV

I'm all good with the very, very vivacious and enticing female characters of color on "All-American" but I do wonder if the show will thrive if it doesn't expand its audience to include the ultimate audience of the CW . . . White women ages 15- 30. TPTB move heaven & earth to secure those advertising dollars as we have seen in the past so here is to hoping that some snow bunnies are introduced this winter with assertive plots surrounding our protagonist

Legacies episode one
Ladies and Gentlemen

I may have stumbled upon my new favorite show of the new Fall lineup . . . multiple teen IR opportunities abound and healthy hot-blooded white girls are looking at masculine black boys with a glint of sinful assertiveness in their feminine eyes:

Saw the premiere last night and taped it on a whim just because I figured why the hell not but I NEVER expected a CW show to go so hard with the potential teen IR pairings which are so traditionally taboo. If this new show and its showrunners go left and just pull a "FNL" at mid-season to give all the hot morning after glow sex scenes to the "usual suspects" I gonna be done with this whole network lol. Just based from the trailer & pilot of "Legacies" alone we should be "eating good in the neighborhood" on this series as black boys get enveloped in the ivory affections of

The private school/college prepschool teen IR fantasy is my fetish lol and this show has the goods it seems :)

Legacies is like a Famous in Love/90210 hybrid with better dialogue and, of course, a supernatural theme. I had soured on young-adult dramas; however, this is an entrancing little show (2 episodes in).

I'm counting four potential Black male love interests on the series so far and I really want Danielle Rose Russell to get together with one of them. Who knows maybe they will introduce even a fifth lol :) but in any event those big, round healthy breasts of Danielle should be clapping together at some point this season and the probability looks good that a brotha will facilitate that glorious showcase lol

LOL!
You keep throwing me off with these comments you sneak in your post. lol. I have to start watching this show when I get time. I probably won't be able to watch it live.

I just put it on my DVR from the day before the pilot episode aired. I'm good to go as now it's #1 on my priority manager and rightly so after last nights episode. Danielle Rose Russell strikes me as the type of White actress that White boys would fat shame or make insecure about their curves as Season 1 progressed . . . then S2 she goes exercise bulimic like Tracy Gold, Jessica Alba, Jamie Lynn Siegler, Sarah Michelle Geller etc, etc. I'm hoping she gets an appreciative Black boyfriend ASAP

She's 19 in TODAY's society... she'll live. lol. How old is her character on the show?

I'm sure she's a teenager but I don't follow "The Originals" so ?? I'm looking at her like Baby girl I would run away with you make a new life together . . . kill anyone they sent after us lol

^^ I'm picking up on "X2: X-Men United" as a possible inspiration for "Legacies" too. I'm not familiar with "Famous in Love"

I'm guessing you never watched the last 2 seasons of FNL, because Michael B. Jordan is basically the male lead after the Head Coach in the those last 2 seasons. Cress Williams also had a big recurring role in the last season as MBJ's Father.
Another "Black male lead" who NEVER enjoyed a morning after glow bedroom scene UNLIKE all the White male characters of "Friday Night Lights". They even kept him away from the cute teen redhead that was flirting and making advances on Michael B. I'm sure if he was a white boy they would have squeezed in a scene somewhere so he could have a quickie with that fiery pheonix in the showers or in the endzone of the football field but NO not the negro lol . . . some protagonist Michael B was even the backup QB's best friend got a morning after glow bedroom scene (SMDH) with Tyra!

Saw Charmed and again black dad dead and possible black boyfriend for one of the sisters but its the CW so I'm not holding my breath. Btw awful show so far they are incredibly heavy handed with the sjw stuff.

If it goes right I'll give them props, but honestly I'm not really interested in this show.

If I want to see witches I'll re-watch AHS: Coven. lol.

This chick looks biracial though:

The problem I have when these type of shows and movies include sjw rhetoric in their storylines is that these people have POWERS. It is a different world, a different view when you are actually powerful.

Same thing with Sabrina and Supergirl they spend way too much time pandering to SJWs even though they have all the power in the world. Who can hold you back when you literally have the power to make others do as you say. At that point you're just complaining to complain. And I'm sick of this whole they're more powerful than everyone just because. We know the hero is going to win but this whole I have more power than everyone because I'm special thing is so old. The one thing I loved about the Flash in the beginning is dude was constantly training and trying to get better even though he's as annoyingly self righteous as the girls he works for it and usually faces those who are more powerful than he is.

I didn't understand Sabrina's take on the Devil. I only watched 4 episodes but I get that they wanted to show Sabrina in a strong female light, but had her go up against the devil... when she herself is satanic... and dark. So Confusing.

Power isn't determined by race or gender. If you go up against someone more powerful than you you are going to lose end of story.

This reminds me of when black women were feeling themselves after black panther and thought that Okoye could defeat Wonder Woman. Based on her being a black woman. lol.

They had the water the devil down to actually make it seem real. At least on AHS: Apocalypse they stayed true to the fuckin DEVIL's evil powers.

She doesn't really go up against the devil as much as she rebels. She really ends up going against other witches more so. But then again I've had it with the under dog story of someone new to a craft beating people who've been doing it for years. It makes no sense.

Nina Dobrev's New CBS Show Fired Its Showrunner Over Workplace Misconduct

BY NICK VENABLE 11/6/18

CBS' upcoming comedy Fam has been highly anticipated among audiences for being Nina Dobrev's first TV lead role since bowing out of The Vampire Diaries back in 2015. Less anticipated were complications happening behind the scenes, but it's been revealed that Bob Kushell has reportedly been fired from his co-showrunning duties on Fam, with workplace misconduct cited as the cause.

Fam is currently in production ahead of its midseason series premiere on CBS, and it'll now be moving forward without Bob Kushell. According to Deadline, Kushell was dismissed from the new series after a complaint was made about him using inappropriate and insensitive language in the writers room.

CBS has not commented publicly on the issue at this time. It was reported, though, that whatever Bob Kushell's comments were in the Fam writers room, they weren't considered to be sexual harassment against anyone. The words were apparently still inappropriate enough to warrant an official complaint, though.

In Bob Kushell's absence, his Fam co-showrunner (and show creator) Corinne Kingsbury will solely take on all those duties moving forward. The show did make a couple of other moves behind the scenes, with promotions given to former New Girl writers and co-executive producers Joe Port and Joe Wiseman.

This is not the first time Bob Kushell has made a high-profile exit from a big broadcast comedy. Back in 2015, he quit as co-showrunner opposite Big Bang Theory's Bill Prady on ABC's The Muppets. That exit resulted from creative differences, with Kushell taking leave in the middle of its initial season. It was reported Kushell wasn't happy that the show's truncated development period was further delayed by Prady's Big Bang duties.

This is also not the first time a CBS series has had a big name come under fire for foul behavior at the workplace. A Criminal Minds director of photography recently got pegged with several accusations of groping co-workers private parts and being extremely rude on the set. Before that, the now-fired NCIS: New Orleans showrunner Brad Kern was the subject of multiple investigations into his own "toxic" atmosphere during production. As well, Pauley Perrette's noteworthy exit from NCIS was possibly due to disturbing on-set situations, per the actress.

With CBS Studios and Kapital Entertainment behind it, Fam stars Nina Dobrev as Clem, a young woman whose life is up on the up-and-up as she starts to build a family with her new fiancé Jay, played by Tone Bell. Things take a abundantly awkward turn when Clem's wildcat younger sister Shannon (Odessa Adlon) moves in as a way of escaping their wreck of a father. The sitcom will also star Brian Stokes Mitchell and Sheryl Lee Ralph.

Fam is set to debut on CBS in the midseason, so be sure to stay tuned for a more official time slot as it's announced. In the meantime, head to our fall TV premiere schedule to see all the new and returning shows that get here before 2018 calls it quits.
