I agree to a large extent, but I think white women only benefit from WS in the short term. In the long term, WS is a system that is deeply misogynistic and really is built around white men. For many white women it may feel comfy, but once we're free of it, we'll realize how many limitations it puts on us as well.

Also, couldnt agree more about representation, and I think that is changing faster than you might think

I may just be optimistic, but I think its changing pretty fast. I dont think the younger generation has any patience with this WS nonsense

Well they must take Action. Problems never correct themselves and you cant really expect people to give up privilege on their own.

It's not our fault but it's our responsibility to end WS. I wish every black person knew the difference between fault and responsibility. It's our responsibility to protect ourselves and interests. And it's definitely our responsibility to protect our kids. That doesn't fall on the shoulders of White men.

Most of all we're fucked because we are matriarchal.

I'm not a negative person, I'm a problem solver, so I cannot function and be who I am by lying to myself and taking comfort in delusions. I also can't stomach people who repeat methods that fail. Where is the sense in that?

Unfortunately we aren't proud enough to sacrifice convenience for the cause.

Some methods take time though no?
People say protests and political action don't really work but then how do we account for child labor laws and a 40 hour work week? If you read the conditions of the time there was absolutely no reason for management to concede I'm talking zero yet it happened.

I agree that things are changing.
A younger generation will not accept supremacy of any race.
I think WW will move away from this idea faster than WM.
If the latter does not follow, they will be left isolated as WW look to other races who are closer to their ideals.

White supremacy benefits most white women in the long term, and it has been doing so for quite some time. It doesn’t benefit women who are open to different things, or that buck against tradition, but for the vast majority, it is and always has been beneficial. More specifically white women who know how to use the system to their benefit.

I do agree that it is mostly a “white guy thing”, but it is only a “white guy thing” to white women, who are in a position to oppress black men and always have been. As I have stated previously, we generally endure under the oppression of the white male patriarchy, white female matriarchy, and the black female matriarchy. Essentially a trifecta of oppression.

I do, however, understand that if you are against that sort of thing, personally, it can be quite difficult to see the many avenues in which you benefit from said systems. It’s been discussed ad nauseam, so, I will leave it at that.

In regards to representation, we are probably a solid 100 plus years away from things being halfway decent.

We can’t expect white men and women to give up their position and power. So, the few who don’t support those systems (and if we are factoring in the entire population, it is very few), may hope for a better future, but we will have to wait until long after we are dead to see those systems destroyed.

You can explain them because they heavily affected white people as well. The vast majority are unbothered if it negatively affects black people, and care even less if it affects black men.

Yeah, just her group of friends includes pretty much everyone except white males. Lots of white females, black females, black males, hispanic, asian etc. A very diverse group. We've talked about it a few times, and its a combination of them sharing similar values and stuff, along with the more shallow sorts of things that teenagers form cliques around
