The Nerdz Lounge.

I'm still going to go see it some time this month.

That's interesting. And I'm sure some will try and blame it on the men. But I'm interested in seeing what the male ratio that are going to go see it is. I think even though it's not living up to box office expectations that there are more men going to go see it than women.

A lot of the people I see online that enjoyed it are mainly men.
I don't have to see it to know the plot and story are predictable as hell with a few jabs at men being dumb or less than women.

I think people are over-thinking why Birds of Prey flopped. The movie doesn't look good visually and it doesn't pass the horny fanboy test.

The cinematography makes everything look grimey which probably turned off casual moviegoers. And the cast looks like what you'd find stumbling out of a seedy lesbian bar at 2:00 in the morning.

It's unfair to say this, but unless a female-lead action movie has attractive women in it (Wonder Woman) or it's part of a larger storyline (Captain Marvel) a lot of men and women will probably pass. After all nerd boys, aren't jerking off to these rough-looking "birds" and girl nerds aren't dressing like them for Halloween or as "sexy" cosplay.
It’s not really unfair to say they have to be attractive. The whole MCU is full of attractive people, christian bale put on tons of muscle for batman begins, tobey mcguire had to get ripped.

The reality is that the people want their superheroes and antiheroes to be eye candy regardless of gender. And I am laughing at the seedy lesbian bar statement, because it’s true and hilarious, I feel they should be singing 4-non-blondes songs by the docks with that cast.

Why blame men? Why didn't the women turn out and make it a hit? They didn't need us to do that. Yet, we get the blame. Typical.
Facts.
They supposedly don't need us so what's the issue. What happen to all that pink pussy hat power?
And if comes down to men supporting why did so many of us go see Wonder Woman or the recent Star Wars trilogy or the Hunger Games trilogy or slew of other series with a female lead. I guess it's easy to have a boogeyman to blame for everything

Too much truth, bro! This is what happens when your filled with misandry and really any kind of bigotry and are in denial of it. Everyone else could see it but them.

And as I suspected even though a lot of men didn't go see it they STILL outnumbered the amount of women that saw it!

Brian Tyree Henry’s Phastos is Eternals’ Openly Gay Hero

Last summer, Kevin Feige announced that Marvel would continue its push toward diversity on the big screen by featuring an openly gay character in the upcoming Eternals movie. Marvel has been keeping the identity of this character under wraps. But in a new interview with Logo, Haaz Sleiman revealed his involvement in the film, Sleiman also shared that he’s playing the husband of Brian Tyree Henry’s character, the Eternal known as Phastos.

Sleiman didn’t say whether his character is mortal or if he has powers like his onscreen husband. Regardless, he did confirm what Feige told fans almost a year ago, which is that Phastos and his husband are raising a child together. Sleiman also promised that one scene in Eternals shows the couple kissing.

“For me it’s very important to show how loving and beautiful a queer family can be,” said Sleiman. “Brian Tyree Henry is such a tremendous actor and brought so much beauty into this part, and at one point I saw a child in his eyes, and I think it’s important for the world to be reminded that we in the queer community were all children at one point. We forget that because we’re always depicted as sexual or rebellious. We forget to connect on that human part.”

Earlier this week, Taika Waititi reiterated his openness to exploring Valkyrie’s sexuality in Thor: Love and Thunder next year. However, Waititi also said this will ultimately be Marvel’s call to make.

Eternals opens in theaters on November 6.

Well, of course he is.

The Batman director Matt Reeves shared a behind-the-scenes camera test for the film Today, featuring the first look at Robert Pattinson in costume.
Looks good so far. But, too much armor. I wan't something closer to the comic look with some sort of weaved, Kevlar mesh.
