imo if Cap isn't actually IN the show and starring in it then I don't understand how he is playing his sidekick.

Everything from Endgame to the trailer of this show says they are moving on from the Steve Rogers saga.

The main villains of the series are Captain America's villains, Batroc, Zemo. The show also features Captain America's "official" successor U.S.Agent and Caps ex-girlfriend/niece Sharon Carter. And the show's logo is literally Captain America's shield.

I like Falcon, but he is deeply lost in the sidekick woods right now, maybe if there is a season 2 of the show they will hopefully free him to be his own hero.

Time will tell. But what I'm saying is if the episodes match the trailer then what I see is a transition. And with Kate Bishop coming we could very well see Patriot. So it looks like to me they are moving on from the Steve Rogers Cap' saga.

This and The Mando are the best sci-fi shows on right now. Thanks for posting.
 
Seen the first episode of The Stand this morning. It was pretty good. I liked that they didn't copy alot of the way they did the original first episode of the series. In doing that it felt original.
