what do white women love about black men?

It took me 36 years to figure out what I wanted out of a relationship. It’s not who I married. I pretend i want to stay so we don’t kill each other and because I’m building my finances and myself to get the hell away. The best relationship I had was outside the marriage and I shouldn’t have let them go. :(

I'm not touching that one. o_O

I'm glad I somehow stumbled upon this site. I need to take time to read through all the comments, before I actually respond to someone's comments, but I still wanted to make a statement regardless. I find it odd that every sexual preference or attraction is being given its day in the sun, but we still can't equally find a place to declare our love for White women or black men. There are no Interracial Partner rallies, parades, marches, etc. If there was ever a group that needed an open platform were we support of one another it would have to be us. We are perhaps the only sexual preference that is polarized by racists views. I watch some of the youtubers, and while they may cover some angles on why a Black man might possibly want to date & marry white women (usually negative), it never seems a consideration that they are in fact beautiful sexy, and down-right irresistible. While I do like Black women as friends, I have never been particularly attracted to them. Although I did (in my earlier years) give in to social conventions, and married a Black women, outside of skin color and some of the music we listened to, we had absolutely nothing in common. Rather, I found myself living a double life, and even though I loved my then wife, my heart & soul belonged in the arms of a white-women, and it became painfully obvious over time. Believe me, it's not that there aren't black women who are attractive, etc. But it's just that... there is just something magical about white women.

Well, I hope from now on out, you find what you are looking for, and learn to be true to yourself. I see some of what you are saying, or I think so, I do not think this OP is saying WW/BM pairings are abnormal or exotic, they are normal relationships, and for me personally, my attraction feels so good and so right. However, we are in the minority in a sense that it seems most people pair up with ones from their own backgrounds; race, culture, economics, social status etc.

I find the comment on things in common interesting, since some who feel that people should stay with their own or prefer their own will say something along the lines of that there will be a certain degree of compatibility automatically, and they will automatically understand one another because they come from the same backgrounds, and it is just easier and there will be less strife in their relationship.

I just had a kind of disappointing experience with this myself, the guy and I are ok, as friends or friendly online, but he preferred his own kind so to speak, was just not meant to be.

I see a parallel with WW/BM struggles with other groups like gays in that they did not have the right to marry until well into the 1960s. There has been struggle, and WW/BM pairings have been one of the most scandalized pairs.

Of course, we are actually one human family, from a strictly biological standpoint, we share 99% or more DNA, so whatever divisions or whatever come up are artificial and human made, really.

just my 2 cents, not trying to stir the pot.

True, I think a lot of it is maybe us projecting backwards too. So we see a white woman with a white man and we assume she's not happy, she's being controlled, not having good sex, etc. etc, but for the woman that is in that relationship, she might not feel that way at all
No I don’t think that and I find it way too cliche to make such assumptions about people’s sex lives based on race and wait, what? Being controlled as well? Honestly it just sounds to me like your idea of wwbm relationships is filled with stereotypes and cliches.

So what do you want out of a relationship?

So apparently this really is a thing, ww getting married to wm first and when the marriage breaks down they realise what was missing in their life all along was a bm. So bm, how do you feel about that? I honestly think it’s a a lot of projection on bm.

The closest I've heard to that is ww who were attracted bm prior to their 1st marriage but didn't seriously date them for societal reasons.

Then again I've also seen many more cases where a ww was open to dating/marrying bm (some mostly dated bm) but just happened to fall in love with a wm and marry him instead. I won't say that doesn't get frustrating lol, but I actually think that's what we all ultimately want: you get and stay with who you like, with race/color playing no part.

from my experience with pittsburgh white girls it's because they mostly
grow up around black guys, the ones I know that date a lot of black guys do. People be thinking maybe it is a phase, then years later when they are adults they still with black men.
How many ww like bm?and how come I always see fat one only with bm

Let’s do a poll to find out how many people on this site are actually, currently in IR relationships. And maybe another one for who has been in a serious IR relationship in the past. I’d be more interested discussing issues that come up in our real life relationships than all these pseudo celebrities but I’ve kinda given up.
If they don't see it on TV shows or movies, then it clearly doesn't exist. That seems to be the prevailing logic of the majority of these "IR on the Internet but not in real life" individuals. Or at least the ones who find their way to this site.

If people aren’t in IT in their personal lives, i wonder what attracts them to this site. Mere curiosity?
I have the feeling they’d like to be in it but for whatever reasons haven’t been able to. With some (men) I think they believe some false things about ww and IR relationships which makes it a self fulfilling prophecy for it not to work. For instance that we aren’t interested (or very few ww), it’s not gonna work because of whatever societal standards etc

That actually was the breakdown of this site (or at least the forum side when I joined) at one point in time. People that were currently in or had been in at least one serious/long term IR relationship with the just dating or curious crowd sprinkled in to round things out. Made for a fun & interactive online community for the most part.

Somewhere along the line people who seem to be more about the "fanboy/fangirl/fantasy" aspect of IR relationships than actual experiences & community started to make their way here and literally killed the fun & overall positive interactions. Those types were always around (along with the various trolls, the undercover racists & stereotype/ negative IR sex only weirdos) but now they seem more the rule rather than the exception.

I remember how it used to be back then. I found this site as early as around 2008 but didn’t post back then, I just read the discussions. Used to be interesting and lively and intimate. People used to really know and like each other and tell each other what’s going on in real life. It is what it is, we can’t force it I guess.

Uh?? I'd be surprised if people on this site weren't seriously dating BM/WW, what makes you think otherwise?

True indeed. There are a few who are knowledgeable on lR who are not there anymore. I know of two who are no longer with us. I see a rise of membership but, don't contribute to anything.
