Movies with BM/WW Couples

Finally watched the 2005 Wesley Snipes film "7 Seconds" that is advertised on the resources page on this website: https://whitewomenblackmen.com/resources.php

It was definitely an entertaining film. If any of y'all still haven't seen it, go check it out.

I seen it. For it's time it was a pretty good action flick. I liked how Kelly and Jack's relationship turned out. They had us with thinking that they were just another flirty IR buddy connection with nothing more beyond that. Didn't see it coming though because the twist with Suza was surprising.

This is what Murder at 1600 with Nina & Regis and Kiss The Girls with Kate & Alex should've been. Along with other countless buddy IR. lol.

Do have list of these type of films?

List of notable buddy IR films.

Along with the ones I named

Murder at 1600
Kiss The Girls
The Long Kiss Goodnight
Ghost Of Mars
Pelican Brief
The Bone Collector
Virtuosity
I, Robot
Dropzone
Twisted
Secret In Their Eyes
And you know if those Black male leads were white there would have been plenty of intimacy. Denzel, Will, Wesley etc would have had some great sex scenes with those white female leads.

Werewolves Within - Official Movie Trailer (2021) Milana Vayntrub, Sam Richardson

Usually horror-comedies are more of a miss than a hit, but Sam and Milana are funny and the trailer looks promising.

Nice! I was going to post this a couple weeks ago, but I wasn't sure if there was actually a WWBM angle or not. Are you able to confirm?

Edit: One more thing! My fave werewolf movie of all time (An American Werewolf in London) was an excellent horror comedy, actually establishing the subgenre.

Wait a minute, is the female lead of this movie the AT&T girl?

There's an indie film called "Bailey and Darla" coming out, but I don't know when.

Here's the plot summary from imdb:
"Darla, a crass female sex addict, and Bailey, a timid testicular cancer patient, engage in a misguided and mutually deceitful form of therapy, one in which they must drive across the country reenacting Darla's myriad trysts from state to state."

Brittany Snow (https://www.instagram.com/brittanysnow/) plays the sex addict.

Here's Sam Richardson (https://www.instagram.com/thesamrichardson/) and Sam's real-life gf, Nicole Boyd (https://www.instagram.com/nicoliemumu/).
Nicole has nothing to do with the movie, but I thought you'd want to see her anyway.

In the movie, Anna Akana (https://www.instagram.com/annaakana/) plays Sam's ex. I figured you'd prefer to see her too.

Britney Snow's the female love interest? I'm in.

Reading the extended synopsis of this movie it seems like this is a hookup turned into a romance movie. So could be pretty good. Something also tells me with them reenacting her 'trysts' (lol) it's going to be a very adult comedy. lol.

The plot centers on Darla (Snow), a cynical reporter whose sex addiction is getting in the way of her sex column, and her evolving relationship with Bailey, a well-meaning sweetheart who’s been dumped by his fiancé Elizabeth (Akana) and learns he has testicular cancer (again). Together they embark on an impromptu cross country road trip, recreating Darla’s myriad trysts from state to state. She’s looking for a story and he’s looking for a last hurrah; what they find is something neither expected.

If written well this could be a very good movie. The plot sounds very creative and interesting.

Jordana Brewster is also in this.

Anyone in the mood for a comedy?

Hooking Up

Brittany Snow is Darla, a writer who gets fired after her sex addiction spirals out of control.

While in a therapy group, she meets Bailey (Sam Richardson), who has been recently diagnosed with testicular cancer. Coming up with a plan to regain her job, Darla convinces Bailey to embark on a cross-country road trip to relive her sexual experiences with the idea that Bailey can have “one last hurrah.”

Watch "Hooking Up" right now. God damn the plot of this movie is so ridiculous.

Boyega and Cooke kiss at the 02:09 mark.

Side note, I just noticed that this story of American crime is staring three Brits and a Swede. lol

Looks good. This is how they used to make 'woke' movies about corrupt systems and what not. It's what happens when you take out the political pandering and just tell a story.
This and Beckett also coming out next month are doing it the right way.

The film I Do… Until I Don’t was mentioned earlier in this thread and dismissed because the trailer seemed to indicate that Wyatt Cenac’s character would get cuck’d.

Without spoiling much, he doesn’t. He and Amber Heard have strong chemistry in this tonally, odd-duck movie.

it’s worth peeping on Hulu if you have a dull moment.

I seen this film. It wasn't very good imo. The plot although interesting couldn't be delivered. Amber Heard and Wyatt Cenac are I think like some kind of free-spirited couple with an open relationship. We barely get anything out of them for a film that explores sex and relationships. They gave more to the other couples though of course.

Looks interesting, but the things I've read about Amber Heard kind of turns me off on seeing her in a movie like this.
