That is not the tone I would have guessed for Green Lantern, I guess they are trying to distance themselves as far as possible from that CGI-heavy Ryan Reynolds fiasco.

The Fourth World: When the Old Gods Die

DC Comics will release DC Finest: The Fourth World: When the Old Gods Die in November 2026, a 560-page paperback that collects the early chapters of Jack Kirby's epic science-fiction mythology, the New Gods saga.

The paperback reprints:

•

  • New Gods #1-3
  • Forever People #1-4
  • Mister Miracle #1-4
  • Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen #133-143
  • Superman's Girlfriend, Lois Lane #111 and #115
  • and pages from Superman #233 and Superman's Girlfriend, Lois Lane #114

Jack Kirby was the sole creator—writer, artist, and visionary—of The New Gods, a series defining the 'Fourth World' saga. The narrative blends grand, universe-spanning conflicts between heavenly and hellish planets with gritty Earthbound action, driven by Darkseid's tyrannical pursuit of the Anti-Life Equation and his desire to break all free will.

DC Finest: The Fourth World: When the Old Gods Die will be released on November 23, 2026, for $39.99.

All four seasons of The Man in the High Castle—Amazon’s series based on Philip K. Dick’s dystopian novel—are now streaming on Netflix.
I intend to watch the series in its entirety this time, rather than sporadically skipping episodes.

Publisher Description. This summer, three of Marvel Comics' most iconic stars barrel toward a brutal confrontation in Spider-Man: Long Way Home. Crafted by comic creators Jonathan Hickman and Adam Kubert, the five-issue limited comic series puts Spider-Man, Punisher, and Hulk on a high-stakes collision course as they desperately pursue a missing Cosmic Cube.

In the same spirit as 2024's Wolverine: Revenge, the limited comic series by Hickman and Greg Capullo, Spider-Man: Long Way Home offers familiarity while existing apart from the main Marvel Universe, delivering a timeless, evergreen saga for all readers that's unrestrained by continuity, scope, and mercy.

Publisher: Marvel Comics
Release Date: June 16, 2026

DC Announces a Trio of New Elseworlds Titles

From Ethan S. Parker and Griffin Sheridan, with art by Rod Reis, Supergirl: Survive launches on June 3. The story follows teenage Kara Zor-El and baby Kal-El as they flee their dying world, fighting to stay alive while drifting toward an unknown future.

Launching May 27, Superman: Father of Tomorrow by Kenny Porter and Danny Earls reimagines the origin story with Jor-El landing in Kansas. This version of Superman protects the world using both super-strength and his brilliant scientific mind.

Launching July 15, Dark Knights of Steel II reunites writer Tom Taylor with artist Otto Schmidt for a sequel to the 2021 hit medieval saga. The original series was such a massive success that its first three issues required an immediate combined reprint to meet demand.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day

I like that it looks like he already met The Punisher. I enjoy when superhero universes in movies have moving parts happening before the audience gets there.
