Ok... I see why everyone says dark skin colored men are really rude and prefers light colored black men... they're generally much nicer.

I wasn't stereotyping, you guys really took it the wrong way, I just have 3 black female friends and they're the most gorgeous, sweetist, coolest girls ever. So I'd like to date a black guy, just not one that is racist aginst his self/ his race, and his own skin color, and his MOTHER (isn't she black...??) because I think that's so weird and self just really self hatred. Also, I'm not black, I'm norwegian and really pale.

Bear in mind that this is a message board where many tend to release a lot of stress they have from their daily routines. You will encounter those who are wicked and, those who are nice. There is also a high degree of trolls who take it upon themselves to create havoc on this Message board.

There is a rivalry among guys with various shades. It’s been going on for decades. By you stating you only want a man of a certain complexion, you are rejecting every other guy who doesn’t fall within that shade without giving him a chance.

It would be like a guy saying I don’t want a girl that is very pale and, prefer girls with tans.

Well, there are guys who fit your criteria in NYC however, there is a possibility they won’t be American. They may stem from parts of the Caribbean, or, will be Bi-Racial. There’s a good chance they may come from Europe.

You look Goth and, I know Goths pretty much stay within their own circle in NYC. The ones who tend to venture outside their circle are very few and far between. I’ve dated a girl who is Gothic that was from Poland three years ago.

I'm beginning to notice a theme in her (it's) screen names, how coincidental is that? And it's rather trollish statements, which only serves to be a futile attempt to stir up trouble here. Age is no excuse for ignorance. I'm 23, but at 18 my thoughts and ideas weren't much different than now, especially concerning people. Perhaps a little more naive, but I never have and never will generalize anyone according to the color of their skin, regardless of how many tasteless jokes I share with friends.

It's been discussed before, and picked apart and argued upon that there is a difference between "preference" and "racism".

Now you tell me how saying "Dark men are always rude" is not a racist statement? It's one thing to have a preference for any color man and be proud of it, but by using negatives to enforce said preference is when it goes beyond the realm of mere attraction and falls smack dab in KKK country. Just give the troll a fucking white hood and a cross to burn, maybe it'll distract her/him/it long enough that we can kill it before it procreates.

I love dark men. The rudest people I've ever met in my life have been white men. But I don't generalize and say "white men are all rude and stupid and mean" because I know it's not true of all of them. You know why I don't? BECAUSE I AM NOT STUPID!

If she's really just an ignorant kid, by coddling her with the "oh it's just her age" excuse, you're reinforcing these negative ideas, letting her think "oh, it's ok to think that skin tone defines a person's personality". When a 10 year old gets suspended from school for punching a child of a different color in the face and his excuse is "Well, kids of that color are always rude, so I punched him before he had the chance to be rude to me" should the parent explain how this thought process is wrong to the child, or hug him and say "It's ok, he's just a kid, he doesn't know any better"?

Jesus. It's not ok for a 10 year old and it's certainly not ok for an 18 year old ADULT. Especially one that is probably not what she says she is.
