I like any terms of endearment from men. I've been called "snowflake."
I always thought it was degrading to white girls cause it was implying a certain stature due to the color of your skin.
My "snowbunny"....I never used it.
Of course what do I know how a white woman should percieved things.
to each his or her own.

Most white girls are not sensitive about being called white, or some other term meaning white. Unless you use a derogatory term like "whitey, or gringa, or white trash" some very pale white girls may be more sensitive, but probably more so from another white woman saying something than if you said it.
I've heard pale women get upset if another white woman implies they need a sun tan or are pale.
It wouldn't bother me at all if I were referred to as a snowbunny or a snowflake or porcelain, or ivory. Those are all very nice.
I remember that thread. Life went berserk.Someone had a thread about this back a bit and quite a few women got upset with the term. You might be able to do a search and check it out.
Beautiful! You should get this framed and give it to him for Christmas.:smt114I love my man deeply and I love all of his attributes, physical and otherwise, including the color of his skin, the color of his eyes, the color of his hair and the feel of his hair in my fingers, the fullness and shape of his lips, his adorable perfect ears, his perfect nose, his "just right" eyebrows, his hands and fingers, his big ass feet, the length and thickness of his eyelashes, his pearly perfect teeth, the pinkness of his tongue, his cute tiny ass nipples, his belly button, the hair on his ass, the strength in his arms, his chicken legs, what's between his legs, his beautiful smile that always makes me melt, his handsome laugh, his alluring voice, his wit, his charm, his thoughtfulness, his integrity, his scars, his freckles, the little barely visible stretchmarks on his biceps, his long ass toes, the hair on his toes, the way his facial hair grows, and the way he loves me more than life itself, and how he makes me feel that I've never received from anyone else and don't believe I ever could.

I don't know, I feel like a person's race is a part of who they are. That it's not wrong if we don't pretend like we can't see it and act like we are afraid to notice it. "I don't see his color!!" is just BS to me and makes me rolls my eyes. You can't look at someone and not see if they are white or black. What are those people trying so hard to defend? Get over it! I think if you want to use a term of endearment that includes your loved one's appearance, and it's fine with them, then so be it. And, to me, someone's race is as much a part of their appearance as having a "Surly" expression on their face all the time. I think people should stop being so sensitive. As long as you're not hurting anyone. We don't try to hide it. I'm not ashamed of it. I don't try to pretend the color of his skin isn't there or that I can't see it.
Whoa there Britty who said anyone was ashamed of anything here!!!
Thats a very nice little list about your man, but i dont appreciate the inference of the shame thing!! going on here right now!
Id be interested as to how you could hide going out with a black man anyway even if you dont call him brown sugar?
Pretty hard to ignore my IR relationships as i look at my kids everyday as proof of it ?
My point is ive never called a white man my white sugar why on earth would i start calling a black man brown sugar?
I feel the term snowbunny or snowflake is inappropriate, im not a 5yr old pageant child with gold ringlets, im defined by more than the colour of my skin i exspect my partner to see that NO DEMAND that !!
I give my partner the same back as what i exspect to be given, End of Story!
You may have different values as does your partner , but you need to remember that we live in different parts of the world, ive certainly noticed a different attitude in the states on this board, but it doesnt make me wrong it means we value different things, as do our partners!!
But on a final note im gonna ref a post made here a little while ago from (Leotiecat) her introduction was im looking for some of that sweet dark chocolate that wont affect my blood sugar!!
I looked at that post and i thought (what is this Boogie Nights) i cringed.
surely i was not the only one ?![]()
