Hello all! I just came back from Moscow and I have mixed feelings about Moscow. The trip was pretty o.k. considering that some of my stuff was stolen and my friends stuff too. We landed in the airport and waited quite a while for luggage and found that our luggage was opened and not zipped back properly. My digital camera, flip flops, dress shoes, overcoat and a suit were missing. My friend’s luggage was missing the same but also a laptop computer. Someone must have gone through our luggage when it was being transported from the plane to the baggage claim section. That’s what my friend told me.

So when I went to buy a new digital camera and souvenirs I was almost getting ripped off. The same digital camera was $399.99 in America and the electronic shop over there wanted to charge me $999.00 or over for the camera. My friend told me since I was a tourist they are going to rip you off every where you go (almost everywhere); don’t buy. So I was so sad not buy any souvenirs. Most of the time we were eating in restaurants and such.

Everyone keeps to themselves and don’t interact with tourists. I saw some skin heads and neo-nazis but they didn’t bother me. They kept to themselves and ignored me for some reason.

The whether was very cold. Moscow or Russia in general is full of the very very rich and very very poor. There isn’t really a well off middle class as there is in America. Moscow is something you should see and experience. It’s like a roller coaster of good and bad. Food is great there too.

something like it. But the plane was fast. Landed in germany first, then moved on to Moscow. It was a free trip anyway. So the same way back to L.A. You should go to Moscow when you have the chance, just don't go alone. I didn't have any problems there except with the stolen stuff. Everyone kept to themselves. No one will bother you.
