V777 did you get a throw away camera to take photos during your stay? I would had bought one if my digi was stolen. By the way why did you pack your camera on the luggage you are going to check in? Most people carry their cameras.
I always packed my dgi camera in my luggage on travel and nothing has happened to it. I didn't think of the that. Stupid me. Oh well i'm going back in a few years. All the hype that it is dangerous is nonsense. If you do your own thing there and no on will bother you. Moscow was a busy city with busy people.
9-12 hours to be exact. And the time difference makes you literally unable to function for a couple of days. You sleep during the day and are wide awake at night. So a very short trip really makes no sense.

Well, if he was insinuating that the standard journey time was shortened by a supersonic jet, someone should tell him that they retired the Concordes a few years back. Maybe he hitched a ride on an F-18.
