Thierry Henry on the market again

I'm not sure Dex, but I don't think there is much love lost between Thierry and the British:

"There had been claims their marriage was put under strain by Henry’s £16 million transfer to Barcelona last month and that the 27-year-old Claire, who was born in Croydon, Surrey, wanted to stay in London.

Earlier Henry told pals he quit London club Arsenal for Spanish giants Barcelona to get away from “everything English — including my wife”.

Of course.

The article didn't say why they parted ways. At least I didn't see it in there. Does anyone know?

The article mentions he was messing around with the makeup artist..sending her text messages.Probably part of the reason.

apparently she got kind of crazy after she got pregnant and thats what drove him away. we can only speculate but I wish him well.

That kind of fame and money don't mixed well in a marriage...too many women throwin' themselves at ya'

He should have done the Derek Jeter thing...just keep dating and maybe marry after you retired from the game.

Wilt Chamberlain never married and look what he accomplished.:yawinkle:

You know what, my ignorant American ass used to pronounced Thierry's name as "Theory Henry" until I was watching the World Cup where France was playing Italy and someone corrected me.

Hell, I thought Thierry was British for a long time. Stoopid Americans!!!:D

Yeah, it was 20K, and apparently he prefers white women...

"Chamberlain also gives details of his prodigious sexual appetite, the number of his bed partners having passed 20,000 and still climbing.

and publicly criticized Wilt for saying in his 1973 autobiography that many black women were inferior sex partners."
