At the age of 20, I was attracted to my husband, period. Not because of his black skin. I had an immediate attraction to him but didn't consider taking it further because he was black. I've explained that part of the story before so I won't babble on about it. Now, almost ten years later I am able to find beauty in black men more so than in white men. I'm not sure exactly why, because men are men, but I guess black men represent something in my mind that is more appealing.

I would strongly suggest you step away from your computer, go outside and meet people. Nothing beats real world experience. Just because something negative happen to person in an interracial relationship does not mean it will happen to you. At the same token, someone could have all the luck in the world dating a person outside their complexion while another will have no luck whatsoever. Unless you take the initiative to go out and meet people you will never know. Asking questions is fine. However, if you think you are going to find all the answers on the Internet based on interracial relationship, in which you will be prepared to handle every situation, you are in for a rude awakening. More people use the Internet as a means of complaint board than those who are enjoying life. Many are ant-social in which their life is based on the Internet.
