Be honest with me, people. What's your view of Walt Disney company?

Um..few weeks ago, Friends of mine and I had the discussion about this. We are pretty much very concerning on where this company is going. From my view, the company itself is VERY evil. They're using those little children to watch mindless tv shows that I cannot stand at all. Like HSM and Joans Brothers, Hannah Montana, you name it! Having to admit that I'm anti-disney for a good reason, because I can't stand of watching what they've becoming of!

This is not walt disney company that I used to know of! I missed good old days of walt disney company where we can enjoying good, classic movies, but today, we have new people who working at that company, they were looking at those classic movies and saying that they are unworthy to release them at all.

Of course, regards of shows, they will not sell its shows to another company, because they said themselves that it would make them looking bad! That is, I don't get it at all. How can the shows with another company would make them looking bad? Finally, another friend of mine revealed to me that Disney don't want to admits defeat. Is the reason why are they afraid to sell its shows to another company?

That has got me very angry and wish that they would stop using young children! I hate for what they're doing and I begin to wondering, what can be done to stop them from doing that ever again?

Of course, I forget to tell you that I found child pornography in little mermaid tape video! Where penis is stands there! That is, I'm very, very stunned to learn of their evil behavior!

Also I quit watching desperate housewives on ABC, because I knew there's something wrong in that show. Like cheating on another people, man, it's very wrong for what are they doing!!

I blame Disney for creating the real housewives that has aired on BRAVO!! That got me pissed off. There's no way in hell am I going to letting my children watch that crap! I can't stand those women with botox and all!

I hold them responsible for creating that! Towards my feeling, they must be stopped! They need to go, because it's their fault for making that happening in our lives. Guess what? They've done do their good jobs brainwashing all of us! This is not what I knew of the very company!

Do you agree with my view?

LOL, that's such old news. There's a bunch in every Disney movie, all the way back to the begninning. A friend of mine was actually on the art team for Little Mermaid. It's quite funny the innuendos that are in that movie and others...

Yup, it's wrong, but guess what....it's life.

    Not really.

I'm a huge Disney fan. Not the crazy kind, but the kind where I take my kids to Disneyland at least once a month. It's awesome. We have a blast. So no, I don't really agree with your view.....the classic stuff is all still around, it's just a matter of what you expose your children to.

Disney puts out bullshit. Bottom line. Money hungry is what they are. Last time I was watching Disney was when I was in 8th grade, and shows like Even Stevens and Recess were on. Loved those shows. Now everything is shittier than ever. I'd like to add Viacom to the list(Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, VH1) of shit.

I wouldn't say Disney is evil, but I actually do try to avoid their products for my son.

Children will soon enough become aware of brands and products, and I see no reason why to push that on him earlier than I have to. Of course I'll have to buy him for instance Disney products at some time, but I will not do so before he asks for it. I strongly believe that the symbols children see every day, will become important to them, have a deeper meaning sort of, and I don't want Disney (or any other similar brand) to be a "religion" to him as he grows up.

Avoiding Disney isn't always easy though. I was going to get my son some gym-socks (as they have rubber-soles), and I had to go to no less than 6 different shops before I found gym-socks for boys who were without aDisney (or spiderman) print. They all had trigger, Mickey Mouse, Cars, Winnie the Pooh, Donald Duck etc on them. Buying him a lunch box without a Disney print proved to be equally difficult.

When it comes to their movies I too think they used to be better in the past. However we all think the movies, comic books etc we read as children were better than the ones who are now, simply because we were children. Hanna Montana is meant for 10 year old girls. I have no intrest in seeing it, and asume I won't like it. The series sucks. But me judging it is not fair to the movie, as iI'm not in the target group. 10 year old girls love it, so it obviously does what it's supposed to do.

I think Disney would be alot better if it stuck to classic stories like it used to, now and again you will get a good movie.

The Narnia chronicles are an excellent representation of that, but it proves my point, that they perform better when they stick to the fairytales.

I mean what was that Movie Chiwawa's about? yeah i like some of these movies. Definitely not a high school musical fan, i find it odd that 4 and 5 yr old kids are watching 17 yr olds on there way to college.

Dreamworks are getting much better i think.

The Bee movie is a classic, yes it has inuendos, but it has an overall moral to the story, action and consequences.

*COUGH!* And powerful they are! That's how they get what they wants!!! [IMG]

The best solution for this issue is to firing rest of them and put walt disney company up for sale and having somebody buying and own it! That should stop people from being so damn greedy!

Disney wont suffer as much as anyone thinks in this recession trust me, of course there are certain aspects to the company that will get hit the theme parks and cruise lines mainly the tourism related businesses but Disney has a lot of other revenue streams that will help make up for those losses.

No thoughts of it. It's just another movie/animation industry. Nuff said.

It's like asking me what I think of Disney World.
