Which countries/continents have you visited so far?Which was your favorite(and why?)?Where would you like to travel in future?Do you speak any foreign languages?

    So far I've been to:

    Spain
    Latvia
    France
    Belgium
    Luxembourg
    Netherlands
    Denmark
    Italy
    Hungary
    Switzerland
    England
    NYC

Out of those I liked Latvia best.Only 3 million people living there but great landscape.People are kind.and Riga(capitol) was beautiful! NYC was nice too but too big for my taste.

In future I'd like to go to Latvia once again and visit Croatia and more of the US.

As far as languages...I started off with German since my parents are both German and we live in Germany.Started to learn English in 3rd grade(later it was my college or A level course in high school and German my 2nd one).French in 7th grade -11th(when my grades went down and I quit to keep my average grades ok) and Spanish in 11th(til the end aka 13th grade).I'd like to learn 1 or 2 more though. Maybe Latvian or Russian

Travelling is something I love to do, unfortunately I haven't had the money to see as much of the world as I would have liked but I'm lucky because in Western Europe, getting from country to country isn't TOO expensive.
    I've been to:

    Italy
    Portugal
    Spain
    France
    Germany
    Austria
    Holland
    Slovakia
    Greece
    Belgium
    And of course, Russia :)

My favourites were Italy and Portugal, for sure. Beautiful countries, beautiful people, beautiful food :D Shout out to Germany too.
Least favourites were probably Spain and Holland.

Next year, I'm definetely going to Russia, Poland and Uruguay and hopefully to Brazil and/or Argentina and then to America in the summer. I want to see as much of South America as possible, and within the next three or four years I will visit Mumbai (I have someone I can stay with, good stuff) and Kenya (and a good friend there) for sure.

As for languages, apart from English, I study Russian, Spanish and Portuguese. My Portuguese is pretty cack but I want to focus on it more once I get better at Spanish. Once I'm fluent in Russian, I want to take up either Serbian or Bulgarian and in the future I'd like to learn Italian.

Oh that's whatsup. How similar are Portuguese and Spanish to speak? Some sentences in Portugese I can figure from knowing a little Spanish but not much of it.Hehe.
Is Russian difficult? The alphabet looks different.I know I may have a hard time learning it but besides that how difficult is it?Grammar etc

    St. Lucia
    France (Paris)
    Switzerland
    Germany (Bavaria)
    Israel

I don't think I have a favorite. Maybe Israel. I loved them all for different reasons, and some (like France and Germany) I only visited briefly, for a weekend stay. So, I can't say one way or the other whether they would be my favorites. But, all of the countries I've visited had amazingly nice and helpful people. Only a couple of run-ins with impatient people in Paris. But, that's it.

I would love to go back to Israel
    Jordan (Petra)
    Egypt (Pyramids and museums)
    Ireland
    England
Okay, the entire British Isles. LOL.
    Italy
    France
    Germany
    Luxembourg
    Belgium
    Spain
    Mexico (to see Chitzen Itza)
Central America (for the Aztec and Mayan ruins)
    Peru (for the Incan ruins)
Australia and New Zealand (LOTR!! LOL!)

I have a dream that if I somehow come into alot of money, I'd take a year off, take my daughter, and a travel companion ;) and spend a year travelling Europe to see the archaeology sites, churches, museums, and castles.

I took French in Junior High and High School and a little in college. I'd need a refresher course and someone with whom I could speak to on a regular basis to fully remember and retain it.

I've always wanted to learn German. I have no idea why. :smt042
