3d rendering has caused me to develop a new, odd habit. I've started using multiple computers at the same time. lol I generally have my left hand controlling my laptop, searching for tutorials and resources, while my right hand works the mouse on Nate's laptop and I model/adjust lighting/tweak my 3d work. haha. I'm an uber nerd. I knew this day would come.
Hey ppl! Sorry for not being around much lately. Work is taking all my energies and at night time I have the pool and other stuff, so it gets hard to check the board. How are things going with y'all??

I fucking love Nate. So yesterday we went to a mutual friend's birthday party in a hotel. There was a need for more liquor, so Nate, another friend, and I walked to the liquor store down the street. Not a bad walk, closer than we thought. Everything went smoothly... ...until it started to rain. Anyone who's been to Houston knows that "it started raining" means that with almost no warning it seemed like the skies open up and a deity of your choice dropped a cosmic bucket onto the city. So I had to take off my shoes (slippery heels) and try to run in a rather tight pencil skirt through the torrents with Nate. We were paused under a temporary shelter in front of some store or another, when this guy takes off his already damp shirt and hands it to me. I was like "What's that for?" and he told me it was to put over my head. Such a small gesture, but I tell ya, I was stunned. And I gave him a hug and squeezed him and kissed him, cause that was so damn nice. He gave me the damn shirt off his back! Granted, he had a wife beater underneath, so he wasn't completely topless, but that was so sweet.
I know, right?! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 It's been a pretty good weekend. Good party, got a lot of homework done before so I don't feel guilty for going out, and after the housing meeting I'm going to sleep for a good lil minute. lol
Last night in Toronto Stayed in bed most of the day due to excess last night. Going to Morton's for dinner so we are going to get all dressed up, go have a steak and some really good red wine and then go looking for trouble. We seem to have a knack for finding it :smt025
