I have notice this behaviour particularly with overweight-white women in relationships with black men. If you covered your eyes and listen to them speak, they sound like stereotypical black women. However, when you uncover your sight you are reminded that they are indeed white. Why don't they just talk and act normally?
Many, not all, m8.. Maybe it's an attempt to acclimate/ingratiate themselves to the fella they are with.:smt101 As for Yours Truly, if I *ever* had been confronted with behaviour like that from Mellisa (Or ANY of my past loves) when we first met, it woulda been "Sayonara" on *my* part. Because they're trying to compete against black women, you know? Perhaps they feel that they needed to beef their attitude up to be more like sister, you know? Already those white girls are shaking their ass like black women normally do, so I don't know why they have to be act that way, man. I have no problem with white women act up like them. To be honest, that turns me on.
LOL... Maybe that's how they grew up or what they've assimilated to. I sound like I'm Black sometimes to some people, but that's how I talk. I have grown up with a lot of Black friends. I also sound like I'm 18 too.
Lol. My bad. I know what you mean though. You just kind of pick it up from your surrounding. When I first read the OP, I was thinking of the more extreme cases.
Oh nah...lol Sorry. I was laughing at what you said and I referring to the OP in the latter part Cause I sound Black or cause I sound 18? lol
But you know what's interesting is that I was watching Sally Jessy Raphael one time and the show was on a bunch of delinquent teens that stole from pedestrians, sold drugs and sometimes prostitute, now these kids were all white and came from rich backgrounds but what really annoyed me is the manner in which they talked, Ghetto and stereotypically black! I don't think that they always spoke like that but were just trying to communicate to the world that now they are behaving bad, they might as well speak black (stereotypically).
Why? Why would you watch that show? That show hasn't been on for over 7 years I think. You're 24. So, the last time the show was on, you were what, 17? Seriously odd reference there.
My bad, I meant to quote LA, and I was looking at LA's post where you quoted him. Half the time, they aren't ghetto, or anybody else who acts that way.
