what has developed you better in life ? what challenges have you went thru that made you better ?

maybe what challenges brought you down or maybe you are going thru them now and you are asking yourself some questions that are systematically can not be answered ?

in summation how has life changed , evolved or dissolved and now you are totally different ?

Going through a divorce and ending that relationship has made me happier and perhaps better. My current challenge is making me stronger each day.

Speaking of feet, cute pic Athena!

They're very achy and could use a nice massage....

yes that has done it for me also. I am still going thru that because she is giviing me a hard time about seeing my child. she has also done other mean and nasty things. I dont understand why ?

what has come out of this that I have found a lot of inner strength to not allow her to run over me. it feels good too.

Meeting husband #2 and deciding a relationship with him would be a good thing.

My relationship with husband #2 was what made me hit rock bottom: emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially. I'm still digging myself out of the financial hole that I dug myself into with him (because I really have no one else to blame for that but my dumbass self. LOL)

I had to change my entire way of thinking. Looking back, meeting him and marrying him, though my life was very hard with him, turned out to be the best thing that could have happened for me, because I became a stronger person and learned so much about myself and what I needed to fix within myself to become the awesome person I am today. :smt023

And to also know that I am a work in progress and will always be a work in progress because if we aren't changing and adapting then we may as well be dead. I don't want to be dead inside. I want to live my life to the fullest for as long as I'm allowed to be vertical on this lovely planet. :D

I can cosign with that. Those things happened with me also.
I dont think people realize the pain people go thru in a divorce. was it civilized ? It sounds like it wasnt .

Great avatar Athena...You just missed my avatar awards.

Regarding the question that goodlove asked, I have changed my circle of acquaintances over the past year. I'm able to think clearer and make better decisions. I feel like I'm making a fresh start at life. There is nothing better than the feeling of a new beginning.

yeah im concidering a new beginning also.
you know a catipilliar goes thru a process where they go thru a cocoon then come out and become a butterfly.

    so they are born
then they are in a embryo type thing
then they are reborn to something beautiful

The divorce hasn't happened yet. But everything so far is civil. The marriage itself was NOT, however.

Now that we've been living apart for 2 years, we've become friends. We're much better off as friends than we ever were as a married couple.

I don't foresee the divorce being an issue. As it stands now, it's just a matter of signing the papers and going before a judge. (I hope I didn't just jinx myself. LOL)

Yes, we have a daughter together.

From the time my daughter and I moved out of the house, he has seen her every other weekend without fail thanks to me. I don't make him pay child support every month. Though I usually ask him to pay the day care costs, which are actually probably less than what the child support will be when it gets set up. But, I don't even ask him for that every month. Then there are times I've had to ask him for extra money when I've been negative in my checking account.

He's been good about helping me out when I really need it, and he's been good about giving me a check for her daycare costs when I ask him.

thats cool. my exwife took 17000 out of my acct when i was ILL and was out of it. then I became homeless for a year. i just got a job and put in for child support but i have yet to see my child for about 3 years . it will be 4 in june.

i take that back i seen her 3 or 4 times. my ex has been acting very bitchie. I dont know why because i never cheated on her. never went to the clubs. i never stopped her from going.

she was the one that cheated. so i dont understand.

she has even forged my name and wrecked my credit.

i wasnt the perfect husband but i really tried to be good to her
