OnlineSchools has compiled some online dating statistics that offer a revealing glimpse into the wild world of web romance.
Surprisingly..especially that there are soo less sex offenders.. I personally never met anyone I got to know online for a romantic-date..
Since I'm 5'7 I hardly use online dating, since I don't want no women to think I"m lying about my height even though I'm not. Too bad I'm quiet.
I wonder what the success rate for met online vs met offline marriages? Just thinking of a friend who met her spouse online and she said they had more conversations vs meeting someone irl and she felt she knew him better faster.
it makes sense jordie. i think internet relationships are based on conversation so it's hard not to get to know someone in such a short and intense period of time. maybe that's why they get married quicker than those who didn't meet online.
that is #9 jordan...they show a higher success rate of "irl" meeting than "online" meeting... that is courtship...not success rate of a married couple...they just get lumped in with all the other stats of married couples... :smt024
It says courtship. I mean do online marriages have any higher success rate as in how long the marriages last?? The courtship is shorter but why??
sometimes i think we meet people online that we wouldn't normally meet in person...we are also now communicating with people all over the world via the internet...singles that are motivated to meet, date and marry may already have a plan as to how to make that happen before they ever get started...what i mean by that is if you are open to talking to someone in another state...or country then one of those people eventually has to move...motivation alone when it comes to online dating can make/break a union...provided those two people have decided to focus on each other only...then becomes the wave of getting to know each other...i think it does come fast and furious...then once they meet if they like each other and see something for their future it only makes sense to put the wheels in motion to be in the same place...hence, the short courtship before marriage... did your friend live in the same city, state as the person she met?
I have been fearful of online dating because of how people misrepresent themselves but they can do that in person(LOL) but also you dont know if you are meeting a prostitue or not
:smt081 I doubt prostitutes are going to go the online dating route, too time consuming, too many questions. That's really not cost-effective and prostitution is a business.
you might find them online say if you are cruising craigslist in the adult section...this would not be a good place to look for dates...they actually want you to pay for more than dinner...if you want to skip to the chase there is no need to wine and dine them...they are there to put out provided you have the money
LOL. I was on a website a long long time ago and you can tell from the messages they had up they were prostitutes. you did not have to be a rocket scientist. I guess I need to get out of the fear box though huh. LOL
Life is all about: 1. Money 2. Power 3. And Pretty woman So if you have a down to earth, spiritual & an eye candy woman in your arm, you already won > 50 % of the battle! LoL
I see E-harmony and Match.com statistics but I didn't see you add WhitewomenBlackMen.com dating site statistics to the overview, would you care to elighten us as to how many of the men seeking (discreet fun) find there Woman in White bride?
