Hehe i am definitely one of those curious creatures as well It went pretty good actually..we talked online for 8 months and October 17th i just got on a plane and flew to Washington DC and stayed with him for a week. We had a lot of fun, enjoyed our time together and didn't have any awkward moments. Was an interesting experience

I've viewed this site before, but not the message board. I just stumbled across the message board and decided to join. I like that people on the board could relate to me. There's nothing like people who understand and who also share similar experiences.
Finding this site has helped me get through the challenges, difficulties and insane abuse I've had to endure since I started dating BM. My story is similar to yours FEHG; I also had a one-off and that experience impacted on my life in such a dramatic way. Like FEHG my eyes were opened and I saw black men as the only race of man I desire to be with. I ended my relationship with my 1st black bf as he didn't want to be in a LTR...I'm now dating a incredibly sexy, sexy, SEXY Jamaican man and I'm falling madly in love with him!!!

Well, I just joined yesterday so I may as well add my bit too! I'm a 25 year old WW living in Australia. I'm single, but currently involved with an amazing African American man who has opened my mind to IR dating.
