Espy...Espy- too fabulous to be real I am happy that I've said, what I've said. I don't care about third persons, you are important to me.
thank you for the rep espy, your one very special woman and to answer about my wee girl, sadly not better, shes gone on to develop stridor and croup again along with the tonsilitis and chest infection so weve added steroids to the mix now, any worse and she has to go in
:smt056 Aww Robina, so sorry to hear that she's not improving and is getting worse. It's so hard when your wee one isn't well. My daughter spent the first month after she was born in the ICU and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. When they hurt, you hurt. You're an amazing mother and she's blessed to have you as her Mum. Will send prayers and positive thoughts your way.
this is sadly the norm for her, shes an ex extreme prem, spent her first 10 months in hospital with the docs telling me she wouldnt make it and we have frequent hospital flyer miles ever since. i wish i could change the past so she wouldnt have to go through what she does but shes a determined little girl and out achieves the doctors predictions at every step
Good for her! I learned with my daughter that doctors don't know everything, that some human beings simply defy all expectations, and that miracles do happen. However, having you as her mother is an asset beyond measure Robina. It shocked me to see how quickly some parents just gave up on their babies in ICU once they got a grim prognosis. You'd be surprised what someone can accomplish through shear will power, but I think having some support makes all the difference. If everyone else gives up on you, some might question to themselves why fight? Never doubt that your attitude, love, and support has had a tremendous positive impact on your little girl, and that will be a lasting effect. I admire your dedication, perseverance, and ability to not let it embitter you. You're just awesome Robina, and that's something you should hear every day.
