im thinking if he ever gets another invite im gonna have to put up a great big banner saying yes i really mean it, lol and he wonders why i told him was unadventurous just 10 minutes prior :???:
:smt042 Well sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands Robina. Since a blatant invitation didn't work, next time just grab him and pull him in with you.
My brother came home yesterday. When I got to the house (which was probably about an hour after he got home), he was already on the phone with someone. Nothing has changed, from what I can see. Today I move. No more independence for me. Sucks. I need a way to make some fast money. :smt042 I guess I'll be spending the majority of my Vegas trip gambling!! :smt026 I kid, I kid....
That's what love, you always have a plan, now here's an idea...a screenplay about 4 women in Vegas! Hahahahahahaha...
Hah, that'd work fantastically as a summer romcom. Or a "Girl Power" flick. Back up plan: porn. Any which way, decent compensation for the writer!
So, my visit home has gone rather awesomely, I'd say. I even managed to get my driver's license renewed, so now if I ever manage to miraculously procure a car I'll be legally allowed to drive it! And I can be a DD on occasion, which I'm sure some of my friends will be happy about. My family (especially my younger, but not youngest, brother, and my dad) have impressed me with the welcome they've given Nate. My dad took him fishing three times, and my younger brother invited us over to spend the night last night. Hell, between my dad and two brothers Nate's barely spent any time with me. lol So far the only person in my expansive extended family who has made any sort of negative comments about the racial makeup of my darling heart has been an obscure uncle I barely know, and I've never really liked him anyway so it's really no loss. Plus, my mom had the foresight to have a conversation with him before we came, so we didn't have to waste the time bothering to visit him. AND to make matters even sweeter, my dad didn't drink a drop before he left for the weekend to do some security job thing. To say I'm proud of him is an understatement. P. S. My nephew, who's almost 3, is pretty awesome, too. I'm gonna miss that kid like crazy. He glues himself to my side, it's adorable, especially considering he didn't remember me at all. Quite the budding little artist, too. He gets that from his auntee. P.P.S. I've learned that I find the uncomfortable stares of random rednecks at Wal-mart extremely amusing. hahahaha
That's all awesome DH. It nice that you and Nate got to enjoy time with your family! I hope you have a safe trip home.
Bored and now I'm reading Candace Cage's twitter page. I'm waiting until tomorrow to get loaded. Happy 4th!
You'll never find me!! Muah-ahahahahahahaaa!!!! :smt077 Btw, brilliant news about your trip home! Great to hear that things are going swimmingly for you. :smt023
It's so weird, they never bother to think, but they start analyzing things when they really don't need to. MEN! :smt095 Exactly! Bookie, who are you moving with? I'm glad you guys had fun Perse! And yeah, I love it too when people look at you with those stares... I'm like "got any problems? Do you want my man?" So so fun
Well, I'm all moved. I still have a few things to do at the apartment, but the move is over. It took longer than expected, which messed up some of my plans for last night. :smt086 But, c'est la vie. My daughter was supposed to be at her Dad's this weekend. But after her Dad helped me move, he brought her home and then she decided she wanted to be with me last night. She cried on the phone, and her Dad said that he didn't want to keep her against her will, so I said, fine, she can sleep at home. How do I get rewarded for this? By her waking me up at 6:15 in the f-ing morning because she's hungry. WTF? I'm tired and sore. Looks like I'll be taking a nap today. :smt043 On a lighter note, my nephew drove to Indiana a few weeks ago to get tons of fireworks. We'll be setting them off after the "real" fireworks show tonight. I'm looking forward to it. And looking forward to no work tomorrow, though I'll be working at home. ARGH. :smt011
Aw... well... try to think of the positive things... you won't have to do all the housework by yourself
