Wow, cigarettes are HEAPS more expensive here. $12-$15 a packet, $60-80 a carton... even with the exchange rate yours are cheaper! (I don't smoke but used to work in a smoke shop...)
Wow! I can't even imagine spending that on cigarettes Whikle. I'll be sure and tell my sister not to move to Australia.
I need a new set of friends. My friends don't do shit and have no motivation. My other best friends are doing shit and moving away. One moved to Oklahoma last summer, my other friend is going to the army in 2 months and another might transfer to another state or SoCal because of his job. I've got 3 best friends doing something with their lives and moving away and I've got 3 best friends who aren't doing shit. One hasn't had a job in 11 months, another one is in school but half assing it and just taking a bunch of online classes, and another who I thought was going to the Navy said he's gonna "explore other options". Dude got a 98 on his ASVAB. Fucking go! He can be a damn nuclear engineer. My friend that is going to the army in a couple months and I were talking about what the fuck they're gonna be doing in 5 years and how I can't keep hanging with them doing the same shit over and over(watching them drink every night and go fishing from time to time). Eventually, I'm just gonna stop hanging with them, but I know they'll get butt-hurt about it. I mean damn. Who the hell am I gonna bring around them in 5 years to hang? They ask unmotivated friends what they do and they'll get answers like "I work at Target/I don't have a job/I'm going to school, still". God damn. And these were the type of people we would all crack on back in high school. Now it turns out that half of my best friends are "those guys". Fecking shart!
pfft There are so many reason not to go. bullets coming at your head. Misslies flying at you. getting your leg blown off. I'm just saying man. I'm just saying. The military should always be a last resort. I support my troops but I don't like it when they are being shot at or blown up or something else that will hurt them dramatically if not death.
:smt056 Now you know you've got plenty of fans who don't care what you wear LA. You are just fine as is.
I went to my friends party last night and had more than a few drinks. I came home and got into bed. This morning I woke up drenched in sweat and my dog was sleeping on top of me. There are a million places to sleep around here why on top of me. :smt102 Now I have a headache.
:smt056 Sorry you have a headache Jordan, I woke up with a migraine too, though no alcohol was involved. Now why would your dog want to sleep somewhere else when he can snuggle up with you in your comfy bed? There's about a hundred places to sleep in my house, and all 3 dogs are always sleepin' on my bed every morning when I wake up, I think it's just a safe and warm place to be... or maybe they're attracted to the wet dog smell? :smt043 Hope you feel better soon!
Yeah...sometimes you got to cut dead weight. If they are bringing you down and not going places like you may be...or whatever so
Thing is, that is his last resort, even if he hasn't said it. He straight up said that he will not go back to school. You know what his goal was before that? To work his way up at Target and become a manager. Plus, not every position in the military is putting you at risk of death.
damn good point fellas. it is often stated that birds of a feather flock together. also when dating someone look at their friends and family (I had to learn this lesson). the person you date sometimes or most of the time will take on the values and characteristics of the friends and family . so put a third eye in your associations.
Hey Sugar, When I listened to you voice again in the voice sample thread.....a match was made in the similarities to celebrities test………..lieutenant Starlin in” The silence of the lambs” (AKA: Jodie foster)….....................................now young lady, I need you to go and interview Hanibal Lecter again please.
Hahahahahaha! But you know Arch, I have better shoes than Jodie Foster did in Silence of the Lambs, thank goodness! That's actually one of the things I remember most from that movie, her awful 'sensible' shoes, and those drab matronly clothes she wore. Yuck! As for accents, we were watchin True Blood the other night and I commented 'at least I don't sound like those people', and my sister immediately raised both brows and said 'hate to tell you this Espy, but you sound exactly like those people.' Afraid I'm gonna have to take her off my Christmas list now... LOL!
