Anyway, there's only one guy I'm talking to that's really interesting to me. And maybe that's only because I don't know him very well yet. We shall see.

I'm going to have to break the bad news to the coworker that we can't see each other anymore. We've only gone out on 3 dates, but we email back and forth, and I just know he's not the right one for me, even though he's a super nice guy. The irony of that last statement is not lost on me, since that's exactly what I'm looking for, but there are red flag issues with him.

And a friend of mine, after I sent him a long email detailing the issues with the recent men I've dated, said, wow, it's slim pickings out there. Yes, that's very accurate.

Sucks. Oh well. I'll just go on living my life and pretending that the opposite sex doesn't exist. LOL.

On a side note, I'm seeing "A Chorus Line" tonight. I'm excited. I've never seen it.

Normally I'd agree with you, but I had the opportunity to do just that last weekend, and I'm happy that it didn't happen. I don't want casual sex anymore. It's not fulfilling in the long-term.

I'd have to send you that email I sent my friend. LOL. It's too long to get into here.

One of the red flags is that no one (including family) has been allowed in his house for 2 years.

He claims it's because he started to make improvements, but couldn't finish them because of our payroll cuts last summer. Except, they gave us our salaries back 4 months later PLUS they gave us the money they owed us from those 4 months. And this year we got raises.

So, I'm left to wonder if he's just a slob, a hoarder, has dead bodies in his basement, or just plain lazy. So...how am I supposed to get close to him, if I can't see where he lives?

But there are other things, too....

Got sworn into the army down at MEPS, today. There was one more spot for Intelligence Analyst and I got it. Longest day, ever. But I met some hella cool people. Shittiest part, aside from a 12 hour process, was sitting in the physical room for 3 hours with a bunch of other dudes in my boxers, freezing my ass off.


Oh yeah, I got a free backpack!!!!!!!!!

But yea, I'm gonna take a few classes in the army. Hell, they're paying for it.

All joking aside, I know a few that got their MD and other degrees through the army and dont have dime in student loans.

You better take a master degree at least, since they are gonna use you for all kind of stupid war they can think about. And then leave 'em. Just an advice.

I'm gonna take some classes while I'm in, but I won't have enough time to get a Masters in 3 years. I'll have to wait until I'm out.
