I'm with Tarshi, I was raised to treat people the way I want to be treated. Sadly, many people that I encounter don't go by the same rule. Oh well. I will say that there are some new people that get slammed very quickly without real evidence that they're trolls. I don't know the references of some of the recent controversial posts, because I haven't spent a ton of time on here lately, so a lot of this stuff is lost on me, but I will say that many posters on here are NOT afraid to speak their minds and if you just lurk for awhile to get the feel for how different regular posters react, you should be okay. There's no reason to put up a controversial post just to gauge peoples' reactions. Isn't there enough crap that we all go through in our "real" lives to put up with it here? Come on.
