With those dark skin light skin threads it made me realize I dont really know my skintone. I can look either light brown(a little darker than Chris Brown) or really dark like Akon depending on the pic or mirror. Wierd?
Post a picture. We'll vote. :smt042 I am sure it's not important though. You are you no matter where you fall on the chart.
Haha the thing is I could post 3 different pictures all with 3 different skin tones. I'm wondering if this is a common thing.
it depends on the light. I used to makle fun of my ex, sometimes he looked more yellowish, sometimes more reddish... lol it was fun
Lighting plays a huge part in it. The darkest Ive ever been is when I went on a 27 mile canoe trip in Blackwater,Fl. I went from being this light peanut butter color to a medium brown. My arms, my face and my, nevermind, are the darkest parts of my whole body. The rest of my body is this reddish, yellowish, brown color. I jokingly call my complexion sexual butterscotch. Most people refer to me as being a redbone and sometimes high yellow.
Everybody's skin is going to look kind of different depending on the light, whether we're talking pictures or in person. You know, think of extremes: What would the light be like in the Arctic at dawn, the Sahara at noon, the middle of the Pacific at sunset. Anyone's skin tone is likely to look different in those places and times, right?
co-sign, I think posting pics is the only way to get your answer from us here on the board. Purely for educational reasons just as Robina suggested.
I used to date a dude who had 3 complexions going on his body. His face was was one color, his torso was another and his legs another.
I'm the opposite. Muthafuckas can't find me. I'm a shadow in the night. When it's night time, all people see are teeth and eyes. My friends always go "Hey man, smile, blink. We can't see you".
