Thanks y'all! It's not a bad day per se, just a case of my mother forgetting her place, which with me entails silence on her part. She's a manipulative, passive/aggressive game player and that just is not gonna work with me because I have no respect for that woman and she should know better than to try that crap with me. I'm still thoroughly pissed clean through, but it's fixed I just told her that if she can't find her manners and address me respectfully, she need not come, and if she steps one pinky toe out of line while she's here, she's going to be leaving... immediately. My house, my rules. I have zero problem tossin' her out on her ass, and I will before I'll listen to her crap, or allow her to ruin the holiday for the kids. I spent 20 years of holidays with hateful ass people, I'm damn sure not puttin' up with that from my own damn family. So now she's deciding whether she wants to 'forgive me' and come anyway. I'm hoping she doesn't, but I suspect she'll wake up tomorrow and decide to give me another chance. :roll:

I think I've had my fill of dealing with people I don't like this week. So now I'm going to try to put myself in a better mood by looking at chandeliers for my bathroom.

I continued my promise that I will not make another Facebook account until I finally engage in sexual intercourse. Secondly, I'm setting myself on a time limit when it comes to companionship. I will continue to keep myself open until the age of 30. When I'm thirty years-old, and if I'm not with anyone at all, I'll cut myself off from all possible relationships.

 

Wow... thats something man. You dont have to make "another" Facebook account after sexual intercourse. The account you delete is still there, just sign on again like usual.

btw- good to see you are feeling better. It must be hard burning the candle on both ends these days. Work, school, study, personal, social, etc. Thats a lot and can make you feel exactly how you felt the other day. Hope it was nothing more than fatigue man.

 

Well, I completely deleted my other Facebook for good. As of December 2009, it's no longer available, therefore it's been long overdue. It was a glitchy website to begin with on my end, but it was fun keeping up with the 1900+ people I were friends with...most which came from the interracial groups. But it was a major distraction from my other priorities and wanted to let it all go. I kept getting people sending me messages and what have you.

And thank you very much for the warm sentiments. I'm still up and moving. I guess it was based on laziness the day before. I didn't really do much except sat on my ass most of the time. And there was little to no action outside of that.

 

Why would you ever cut yourself off from possible relationships? Life doesn't follow a predictable time line, I think often the right thing presents itself when you're ready for it, or when you're in the right place in your life to truly appreciate it. Trying to follow a schedule given the unpredictable nature of life, seems illogical to me. Thirty is pretty young to be limiting yourself, or closing your mind to what's possible. I'm 42, I'm not dead, and I'm certainly not going to act like I am.

You really should followup with your Dr. Our bodies sometimes give us warning signs and that was plain scary. Take care of yourself.
