Steve Harvey: father of 4 with 3 wives (2 ex and one current), is giving valuable relationship advice? Seriously???
I've made that comment before but on the other side who else knows what not to do to stay married. Basically avoid doing anything he did.
Well I was going to say 'what the hell does he know about how to keep a man'... then I saw the picture above and thought, 'oh well now, maybe he does have the background to speak on that after all'. :smt042
Burn! lmao :smt043 :smt043 :smt043 but that is the truth. Most men don't have any experience on getting a man so you really shouldn't be taking advice from us. lol
I was thinking the same thing Espy.:smt045 I also wouldn't be caught dead or alive with one of his books either.
I don't do self-help in general Tony. That's literally probably the only section of the book store I would not venture into. That's just people telling you how to think, I know enough people who like to do that already, and they've had no success with me either. :smt042 Unless someone is in your exact circumstances, with your precise personality attributes, coping skills, etc. how is their take on what you should or should not do going to be even remotely accurate? People need to learn to work through stuff on their own. If they can't, then go see a psychologist or psychiatrist, at least they don't tell you what to do, or try to fix everything with a one size fits all approach, they just help you figure yourself out... provided they're actually good at their job.
Yep exactly right lol. I saw an interview with him awhile ago and he said all his audiences are normally black women.
Anything Steve Harvey says off the stage that isn't apart of a comedy routine is bullshit to me. Dude is too funny, and he's one of my favorite comedians, but fuck anything else he says. I really wanna watch Still Trippin' right now.
He beat one up AND ripped the last one off in the divorce settlement. Convinced her to use HIS lawyer in the settlement. Sure, she was stupid for it, but he used a hustle on her, so now she's suing him for that with a dif lawyer. I suppose his advice is good in general in his first book (think like a man act like a lady), but it's fault might be in that it's border-line sexist.
Steve Harvey on why men and women can't be friends and how he doesn't have any female friends.
