Seeing an Ex

He seems okay with it. We are all mature adults. Why hate people?

 

Didn't think I was hating, just replying to your thread with my thoughts as a man. As I told you in the (positive) rep I gave you, your new BF is a lucky man because you seem like a catch.

 

Well I can only speak for myself and I'm not hating when I say this but why tempt fate. Meaning why create a potential bad situation. Keeping your most recent ex around only increases the chance that when you and your current bf fight that you and the ex might get back together. Because when you're pissed of and un happy in a moment its very easy to become sentimental about past relationships especially if you didn't end on bad terms. But like you said you and the ex aren't friends anymore after that awkward club encounter so its a moot point.

Btw that mature adult comment really makes no sense. Being a mature adult doesn't mean you'll make good decisions. Mature adults pretty much contribute to the destruction and suffering going on in the world.

2. See I disagree on this, mature adults get past their differences and move on IMHO . It's IMMATURE adults who fuck up the world.

 

No Sir , never thought you were hating(you are way too cool for that). And I respect your opinion as a guy. It is uncharted waters, as other then my ex husband all my prior relatiosnhips have ended as "I hate you, but need to be vaporied". This was like "I love you, but we don't work". There was no anger KWIM?

 

It's easy to remember because things are good with the new guy but if you're confident that you won't mess up more power to you and good luck kid.

 

I feel confident, but if there were to be uncomfortable moments, then thr friendship would be off.
