One thing I hate about living out here in the burbs is, I hate the fact that you can be driving on a street for 10 minutes and before you know it you've went through like 2 different burbs. If you arent familiar with the Chicagoland area you can really get lost. They might aswell call Chicagoland, Chicago, because living out here really makes you feel like you're living in one huge ass ongoing organism.
Too many snubs and rednecks compared to where we use to live for my taste. Spent twelve years living in a pretty diverse city only having to see and deal with ignorant people on rare occasions and because we had to move for job/homelife purposes now I'm dealing with ignorant fools more than I want to on a regular.
Hate is a strong word. In the case of my city, I'm not going to use it for various reasons. Things I dislike about my city: The heavy traffic. The influx of illegal immigrants.
I dislike the insane number of Republicans in my tip of New York state. It's obnoxious - as are they.
I feel ya... I use the word hate for inanimate objects and in this case to generalize something that is both living and not living (towns, cities, etc). I try not to use the word hate when directed towards people etc. Hate and dislike are used interchangeably by a lot of people so it can get kind confusing when trying to understand where exactly a person is trying to come from. By hate I really meant dislike.
I'll use dislike as well. I dislike the aggressiveness of some of the folks here. No means no (not interested, go away, get the f&*k lost) and shouldn't have to be said more than once. Otherwise, it's pretty awesome here.
You live in Seattle right? When I lived there, the amount of weed smoking schlepps was annoying LA, where I live now - thats a duh; traffic- Its tiring to take up to 2h to go 20 miles.
Actually I live down in Olympia. For the first twelve years here I lived in Tacoma and would go up to Seattle pretty often of course. Yeah the weed smokers seem to be a prevelant thing in Washington State especially it seems in the downtown artsy areas. I've noticed this both when I lived in Tacoma and here in Olympia. Must can't get the creative juices flowing without the weed around here I guess. :smt102
I dislike : 1. That the Boston area is racist in some areas and I have to watch where I go on a date 2. The cold weather 3. The fact there is a Dunkin Donut on EVERY FRICKIN corner and Starbucks are tough to find 4. That despite its size, and that there are a LOT of transplants that everyone knows everyone else. 5. That people have sipped on the Patriots Kool-Aid Like 1. People are friendlier here than in Western Massacusetts and I have made several awesome girlfriends. 2. Lots to do 3. Great public transportation 4. Nice beaches 5. Variety of ethnic restaurants. Have grown to love Haitian, Brazilian and Middle Eastern food 1. Friendlier than
Parts of L.A. have become repositories for the problems that Mexico cannot or is unwilling to solve, namely its poverty, lack of opportunities, and lopsided distribution of income. The city and county are too spread out as well. I'd favor dropping a nuclear bomb in the Valley and doing away with that suburban hell forever.
Hahahaha, post of the fucken week. Stop dressing very friendly and frequenting the nude beach that will stop the unwanted strangers grubbing your dress or whistling at ya.
OH! Its pretty there!! Well the whole area is awesome! I used to go out to the San Juan islands all the time, couldnt get enough! Yeah, the weed smoking is prevalent and I really never got used to how common it was.
Hey I like the nude beach and have every right to be there too. Don't hate me cause I live in paradise...
